It was a week after New Years. We just moved into our new house. I layed on the couch watching a documentary on murders. It said the address was 643 Colley Drive. My house was on 645 Colley Drive. It was two houses down. My wife was freaking out. She almost had a heart attack. She finally calmed down after a cup of tea in the kitchen. We went to our room for some sleep. The next morning I was in the kitchen enjoying some Italian Roast Coffee. My wife came out of the room and sat next to me. She said she had a nightmare that night. It was about a murder. Two doors down.

TWO WEEKS LATER

There was a murder two doors down. I was so scared. The next day there was ring on the door. No one was there. There was a note on the door. It said " YOUR NEXT ". I quickly grabbed the note and crumpled it up. Madalyn said," What was that?" I told her it was nothing but a bill notice. I couldn't tell her about the note. I went in my room and burned it.

A week later I had gotten a job. I started the next day. I was working at an office in town. I came home from work that day. Madalyn was in the living room in red sun dress. She looked beautiful. We were going to dinner that night. We went out to Texas Roadhouse. We came home and there was a man outside. It was around nine o' clock. I stopped the car and opened the door. He ran off the lawn he was holding something. He had a bat in his hand. Madalyn was screaming. I ran back to the car and grabbed my handgun. I got out of the car and pulled up my handgun. The man was nowhere in sight. We went inside the house. We locked every door and window in the house. We couldn't sleep that night. With my gun by my side we layed there. The house was silent. I decided to try and get some sleep once Madalyn fell asleep. The next day I went to work. It was a normal day. Madalyn hadn't called me today. I got home and there was a police car outside the house. Madalyn was on the porch crying. I went up to her and sat down. I asked her what was wrong. She didn't answer. She went to her car and drove off. I called her cell phone. She picked up the phone still crying. I asked what was wrong. She told me her husband Jordan had died that day. A man had come in the house and beaten him with a bat. I hung up the phone. I looked up and there was a man in a gray hoodie. He said to me," It's time." He stuck his hand out. I took his hand. I soon saw a bright light at the end of a tunnel. Then it went dark. There was no sign of people or sounds. I pushed my hands out. I heard a creaking noise. I sat up and heard a scream. I had stitches on my stomach. There was a sign over the door. It read "Morgue".
