"Hey, come over for movie night, Anna!" Nadia's voice echoed through the phone.
"What are you guys planning to watch?" I asked curiously."Something scary," Nadia replied with a smirk. "It's October, after all."
"Um, well..." I fumbled with my phone, checking my calendar. "I don't have ballet practice today. Oh, wait, I forgot I'm injured."
"You're always either at ballet practice or some other stuff like that," Nadia rolled her eyes in an attempt to convince me.
I took a pause, considering her words. She was right - I never had much time for fun, thanks to ballet.
"Fine, you can stop now. I'll come over - just text me the address and time," I said, sounding slightly unsure.
"But don't think you can hang out with me more since I'm sitting out due to injury!"
"Okay miss ballerina. Just have fun for once," Nadia responded softly. "Don't always take things so seriously."
But some of the girls she hang out with frequently. They had a reputation for one thing; Being little dirty liars.
Nadia, on the other hand, was nothing like them. She was one of the most chill girls I hung out with. Perhaps a little too chill, If you know what I mean. But I didn't mind. Sometimes since she'd be constantly h!gh she's abruptly blurt out the truth. It'd make me smile when she'd scold the girls, pointing out their snobby behavior. Whatever sh!t she smoked well at least it made her honest. Therefore I'm not complaining.
