"Marinette." Adrien suddenly speaks, laying upside down with his head hanging off my bed as I sit beside him, sketching him in my journal. He doesn't know that though.

"Adrien." I respond, looking up for another second, sharpening the shading of his jaw and soft curves around his neck, fluffing up his hair a bit more.

He then sits up, almost hitting his head on my ceiling. His face is bright red from his position, which I can't help giggling at for a moment. Adrien softly pulls the book out from my fingers, luckily shutting it before he can see the drawing of him inside.

"How long are we just going to stay friends?" He asks, his voice soft but with a hint of teasing. "I don't think friends do the things we've done."

I blink as I choose my words, "Do you want me as more than a friend?" I ask, a bit bold.

"Always have." He whispers, leaning into me, "Always will." I can't help but grin at his words, causing his own lips to turn up slightly.
