Nico’s POV:
“-As long as I am here with you!” I sang while watching my boyfriend, Will Solace, who was playing guitar, from the wooden benches around the enchanted campfire from afar.
I sighed contentedly, and I stared at him. Those diamond blue eyes. And that golden blonde hair. With that tanned and freckled skin. Gods, I thought to myself, He’s just too good-looking. I was lost in thought when I heard a familiar voice.
“Uh Nico?” Hazel said.
“Yeah?” I replied.
“Your nose is bleeding.” Hazel said with a slightly smug look on her face.
“Wait what,” I put my finger to my nose to check if it was bleeding. I stood up, “Oh crap, hold on, let me get some tissues-'' I was interrupted by someone kissing me. It was my boyfriend, Will. With his son of Apollo magic, he healed my nosebleed with a kiss.
“Hi Di Angelo.” He mumbled against my lips. “Miss me?”
“Always” I smiled as I pulled him in for another kiss.
“Ewww!” Hazel said teasingly “Get a room!”
Will smiled and laughed at that. Then he grabbed my hand and brought me up to the campfire where the Apollo kids were playing instruments. He gave them a signal, and they all started to play a familiar tune, It sounded like ‘You are my Sunshine’.
That’s when Will started to sing, “You are my sunshine! My only sunshine! You make happyyyy, when skies are gray! You’ll never know dear how much I love you-”
Oh my Gods, he isn’t doing what I think he’s doing, right? Tears fill my eyes as he goes on one knee.
“Please don’t take my sunshine away.” As he finished the lyric, he pulled out a silver and gold ring with a black and blue and yellow diamond in the middle. “ Will you Nico Hades Di Angelo make me, William Andrew Solace, the happiest man who has ever walked the Earth, and marry me?”
“YES! YES! YES!” I screamed and started to jump up and down like a little kid in excitement and happiness “A MILLION TIMES YES!”
Will slowly stood up and took my hand and put the ring on my finger. I glanced at it swiftly before slightly hopping to pull him in a kiss, I ended up accidentally pushing us onto the ground while the whole camp cheered and clapped.
My tears of joy dropped on Will’s face. “ I love you Solace” I said with all the love in my heart.
“ I love you too, Di Angelo”
