Mexico was on his last days of staying with Chile and Peru, and like normal there was chaos. It always started with one of them picking on the other, Peru would make fun of Chile's slang or pull his tail. While Chile would mock him, and mention his revolution. Mexico would just listen to their arguments until he was forced to give his opinion or anything like that. He'd keep his mouth shut no matter what.

Mexico was minding his own sitting on the couch, when the hotel phone rang. Strange, no one uses the hotel phone. Mexico picked up the phone, he heard the United Nations voice that rang through the receiver. Mexico jumped a bit at the sound of his voice.

“Hello, Mexico, I knew you’d answer the phone”

“What would you have done if it wasn’t me?”

“That’s not important, now, I called you to invite you to my office”

“By invite you mean-”

“Telling you to come to my office, yes, and no you don’t have an option”

Mexico grumbled, hanging up on the U.N mid sentence. He really had nothing to change into so he just kept the clothes that Peru had let him borrow. He sat on the couch for a bit rethinking how he got here while staring at the wall. He eventually got the motivation to get up and go to the UN's office, as he walked down the hall he heard whispers mentioning his name and America's. It felt like he was a freak show member. He felt the other countries' stares dig into his very core and cut through his skin like it was butter, the stares dug down to his very soul as he approached the UN's office.

Mexico opened the door, it was an ill lit room, the things lighting up the room were a couple of lamps. The United nations sat behind his desk smiling as Mexico came in. He looked at who took up the other empty chair. As soon as he saw who it was he wanted to tear out of the room and run home. He should have expected this, he sat next to America and breathed out avoiding his looks.

“By the looks on your two faces you both know why you’re here.”

Mexico nodded and looked at his hands as he fidgeted with them.

“Mexico, I hope you know it is against the meeting rule to switch rooms.” He reprimanded Mexico about how much of a security and safety concern it was for countries to stay in other rooms without approval. Mexico pretended to listen as the UN ridiculed them for their lackluster handling of the situation.

“You two were placed together in the hopes you could ease rising tensions, but it seems to only be getting worse with the rumors and other things going around about you two.” he sighed and didn’t let the two other countries interject cutting them off if they tried. “If I hear anything more about you two, or any issues that may have happened between you two there will be consequences, because this isn’t some coming of age movie, this is a serious meeting time. You two are dismissed to your SHARED room.” he waved them both out of the room, as the two countries walked back to their room the tension between them was palpable none of them spoke to each other once they got back.
