I could already hear my mother screaming from the outside again, I ran into my house and saw my stepdad holding my mother down on the couch, she let put shrieks as he was hitting her, I ran as fast as I could and grabbed the phone, I dialed 911 as quickly as possible,
"911 what's your emergency?"
"My mothers getting abused !! Come as quick as possible"
A few minutes later when the police came, my step father heard the sirens, he automatically let go of my mother and told her if she said anything about this she would really get it later, the police banged on the door and I opened it letting them in, they walked over to my stepdad,
"Have you been abusing the women standing here ?"
"No officer we were just playing around our daughter must've mistook it for abusing"
They checked my mom, they saw some bruises and asked her what they were, she just claimed they were from her hitting herself at her job, the police left and I went up to my room, I didnt want to even see my mom, it was her chance to tell the police she was being abused and get free from that animal, but she let the chance slip again ..
