Chapter 1: Invisible

Wendy's POV:

Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my GOD!! He's looking at me again!

"Hey, Natsu," I grin.

"Oh, hi, Wendy." He's so beautiful! This boy, the boy I've been in love with for four years! "Isn't it your birthday today?"

I nod. "I'm finally 16," I smile. My blue hair falls in my eyes.

"Let me get that for you, Wendy." Natsu reaches out and tucks my hair behind my ear. His fingers brush my cheek. I blush, but I don't think he notices. "I can't believe you're 16 already. So...are you doing anything this evening."

Oh my God!!!! Is he asking me out? I think. "Not really. Erza and Juvia are taking me out."

"Cool. Can I come?"

I nod. I look in his beautiful green eyes. I gaze at his beautiful salmon-coloured hair. Okay, I'm officially obsessed with this man. "You're welcome to come. You're one of my best friends after all, Natsu."

He grins. My God, his smile is so sexy. "So, see you tonight?"

"See you tonight."

He walks off. When I'm finally alone, I collapse on a bench. I sigh happily. Maybe I will lose my virginity at sixteen. And to a twenty-two-year-old! What would everyone say? You know what, I don't care! I cannot wait for tonight!

At around 10pm, my older sisters, Erza and Juvia, come into my room. Erza's wearing a long, scarlet dress. Her hair, which is the same colour, is worn down her back. Juvia's wearing a knee length white dress and her blue hair is hanging around her shoulders. They look me up and down. I'm wearing a short, black dress. My blue hair, like Erza's scarlet hair, is hanging down my back.

"Who are you trying to impress, baby sis?" Erza sighs.

"I'm not a baby!" I squeal.

Juvia tickles my tummy. "You will always be our baby sister, Wendy."

"Quit it!" I giggle.

Erza ruffles my hair. "We've both been sixteen before, you act like we wouldn't know."

"Erza's right, Wendy," Juvia adds. "She's twenty-three and I'm twenty-one. We've got a lot more life experience than you."

I sigh and sit on my bed. "Fine. I like a boy, but he's a lot older than me."

Erza sits beside me and wraps an arm around my shoulder. "Is he hot?"

I nod.

"Do I know him?"

I nod.

Erza and Juvia smirk. Erza grins. "Let me guess. Natsu?"

"H-How do you know?!"

Juvia sits on my other side. "We've know you for sixteen years. We've seen the way you look at him the last four years." She kisses the top of my head. "We know everything about you, trust us."

"So...is he coming tonight?" Erza teases.

I nod. "Do not say anything, okay?" I realise that I have the upper hand. "So, Erza, is Gray coming tonight."

Erza's cheeks match her hair. "Yes, Wendy, of course my boyfriend's coming to your birthday present."

Juvia looks at the floor, blushing. "Is Lyon coming too?"

Erza and I both nod. Juvia smiles softly.

"Oh, yeah." Erza gets up and walks to her bedroom. She comes back with a square shaped object wrapped in shiny, purple paper. "Happy sixteenth Birthday, sis. This is from Juvia and me."

I grin and unwrap it. Inside the wrapping paper is a rare ep from my favourite singer, Taylor Swift. "Holy crap," I breathe. "IT'S BEAUTIFUL EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Half an hour later, we arrive at my party. All my friends are there. Erza immediately goes off to find Gray. I smile. I stand there taking in the sight. Then, I feel someone's hands cover my eyes. "Happy Birthday, Wendy."

I grin. "Natsu!" I turn around. I stop. There's a pretty blond girl with him.

"I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Wendy. This is Lucy."

My breath catches in my throat. "N-Nice to meet you..."

How could I be so wrong? I'm so stupid. I'm 16 and he's 22, he'd never be in love with a stupid little kid. Sometimes I feel so invisible....
