Two days.
Lilac and Salia have been in and out of my room, apologizing every time they enter and never meeting my gaze with their own, I really miss their beautiful eyes. Every time the door opens my heart beat quickens, wishing that Lilac or Salia would talk to me and explain what I'm doing here.
Today they have only made one visit and that was to bring me breakfast. I didn't even look up at them as I ate it and then let them leave with my dirty dishes. I don't know why but that fire that had started burning deep in my chest when I thought I had found friends in this mysterious place, it extinguished after that first 'personal' question. They have ignored me ever since.
I swung my legs off the left side of the bed and tore back the sheets to reveal my long, thin legs hanging over the side of the bed. I haven't left this big warm bed for two days, for some reason I was afraid that I had forgotten how to walk and balance my weight on two feet. I took a deep, shaky breath as my slim feet made contact with the thick and plush midnight blue carpet.
My toes curled as I stood up, my body as straight as a pencil. My body wobbled a bit but as I took a step foreword I felt balanced and centered. A small smile crept to my lips as I practically floated over to the dresser. I opened the first drawer and pulled out a thin jacket, then I opened the last one and pulled out some socks. I quickly put on my newly made 'sneaking around' out fit and padded over to the lilac colored door.
With my hand on the knob I took a deep breath, easing my burning nerves and quietly opened the door. I needed an answer as to where in the world I am, and I needed it now. My head popped out into the hall, looking left and right my eyes scan the hall for anyone who would forbid my escape from the bedroom. I make a mental note to say in my defense that no one was in the hall and my door wasn't locked, if I get caught.
With one last deep, cleansing breath my feet carried me into the hall with one step. I quietly closed the door behind me and then decided which path I was taking down the hall. The left lead to a large window. Dead end, right it is! I turned towards the right and assessed the hall with my bright eyes, everything was the opposite of my room.
Multiple large windows up and down the hall illuminating the dark walls and dull floor. A landline sat on a side table farther down the hall with a single daisy in a blue vase. I crept up to the phone as if any sudden movements would make it alert someone close by that I wasn't in my room. Once I arrived at this side table I picked up the phone and pressed the small button that lay on the main part as I put the phone to my ear, I listened in on someone's conversation, someone who knows things.
"...What will we do about the Luna?" The first voice was a man with a heavy Spanish accent. I guess I picked up in the midst of this man's conversation. another voice answered.
"We can't have her interact with the pack, since Alpha Quair is so dead set on being the first to meet her besides Lilaciana and Saliana." this voice was more of a boyish voice with a heavy British accent.
I'm guessing I'm the Luna, but who is this Alpha Quair? And why is he wanting to meet me first? Where is he? Is he the one who put me in this place? Why can I only see Lilac and Salia, who's real names are Lilaciana and Saliana?
I was about to question the two voices on the telephone when I was suddenly tapped on the shoulder. I jumped and turned around to meet a man.
"Hey There, Luna"
