The wait is over

Year 2023 .......
It was the world cup semi final, again it was a big matche for India as well as Shubman. Shubman was now a renowned batsman popularly known as Prince of Indian cricket yes the nickname his princess had given him. It was a big match for him because his parents,his idol and his soon to be girl friend will be coming to see him play and this will be the first time his parents will meet her.

Ict Hotel
I was talking to my parents in my room where suddenly my phone flashed with the name ST❤️ written on it. My mom being like other moms picked up the call without even asking me
Mom:Hello
Sara: hi, may talk to Mr Gill
My mom without even saying anything handed over the phone to me
Shub:hey Sara did you know who were you talking with?
Sara: yes, the hotel staff.
Shub:No Sara it was my mom
Sara: what!!!!! No way
How could I behave so cold with my future mother in law, Sara in mind
Sara: Ok Shubi can you please put the speaker on and what do you say namasthe in Punjabi
Shub: Peripona
Sara: Peripona mummy ji(she legit said mummy ji)
Mom was so shocked with her words I immediately corrected her
Sara:Oh sorry aunty ji
Sara tu sacchi me pagal hai abhi Tak sasu ma bani nahi hai aunty, in mind
Mom: Tumhara naam??
Sara: Sara, Sara Tendulkar
Mom: Tendulkar?? Mutlub tum??,
Sara:ji Haan Sachin Tendulkar ki beti
Mom:tum toh aajj ke match me aayogi na???
Sara: Haan aunty
Mom: hmm, Mujhe tum done se baat karni hai
Both me and Sara went silent and agreed to her,I was so nervous
After my parents left my room I immediately called Sara
Sara: Shub why does she wants to meet me also with you in presence
Shub: I don't know Sara but tum zada tension mat lo
Sara:same goes for you as well Shubi focus on your game All the best my Prince your biggest fan will be cheering her heart out

At the stadium
I was sitting there with Jugnu Shubman's cousin and my very good friend, he knew about me and Shubman liking each other so he saw aunty and uncle and said me to approach them
Sara: hello, aunty I am Sara
Aunty: oh hello!( Sundar hai acchi awaaz hai aur doctor bhi hai ladki toh aachi hai mere Shubu ke liye).in mind
Sara: hello uncle..... Sara exclaimed
Uncle:Oh hello you are truly beautiful Shubu has a nice choice
Sara: thank you!!!. (Uncle ka Dil Jeet liya abhi sirf aunty ka jeetna hai)...in mind
Aunty: tum mere side mai betho match ke vakt
I was so tensed but had no other option

The match started
Shubi and Rohit bhaiya were opening and not at all surprising they had a 100 runs partnership

Shubman's POV
I was on 49 when pushed the ball towards mid off and ran the risky two runs. It was a bit risky but my dive helped me to reach the crease on time though I got hurt a bit. I saw Sara and mom sitting together and that made me happy I raised the bat towards them. That's when I realised that both of them were the most important ladies in my life, my lady love and my lady luck were sitting together cheering me.Rohit Bhai didnt  loose the chance to tease me.
Rohit:o ho! Aaj toh century pakki prince ki
Shub: kya Bhai

Aunty' POV
I saw Sara jumping over every four and six Shubman played I was happy for my Shubu that he got the love of his life as Sara. When it was the break time I asked Sara about their lovestory
Aunty: Sara if you don't mind can ask you a question??
Sara: yes aunty you don't even have to ask that
Aunty: How did you two met and how did your Love started
Sara: We both met at my Dubai house when Shubi I mean Shubman had came to meet Baba.
Aunty:no no you can address him Shubi infact you have the equal right on him,And your lovestory??
Sara: It has not started yet.
I  could see the confusion on her face that's when I said that both of us will explain her later.

Shubman's POV
Again I was on 99 that's when I hit a reverse sweep which was not from my middle of bat. The whole stadium went silent because if it was not a six that would definitely be a catch.I was ready to go to the dugout that's when the silent wankhede started screaming their heart out I heard the the stadium rj say that's another century for the Prince.I saw towards Mom, Dad, Sachin sir and my biggest cheerleader my Princess giving a standing ovation to me,I unlocked my helmet and celebrated with my unique style towards my dugout, I also lifted my bat towards the Stands where I could see Sara smilling endlessly and she was so proud of me at that moment I realised it again maybe this is the right time to make Sara mine forever.

Sara's POV
I was so happy and proud at the same moment the way he looked at me we both forgot that millions of people are around us and that is when I realised that the wait is over!!!
