Chapter 4: This Is The Thanks I Get

Asha entered the room, she was the king's new apprentice. She was so excited and nervous at the same time.

"King Magnifico?", Asha asked as she slowly walked toward him.

"Oh! Asha, you're here. I didn't hear you come in.", King Magnifico said as he turned around to face his new apprentice.

After Asha made her wish....

King Magnifico slams the castle doors behind him after he tells the people of Rosas that Asha betrayed the kingdom by granting her own wish.

He walks up the stairs angrily. He is so angry that his apprentice betrayed him! He was the king of Rosas!

Nobody betrays the king of this kingdom. He was in charge, not the people, not his wife, not even a young girl like Asha.

The book that he was reading was consuming him, controlling him. His wife was worried about him.

But, he didn't notice or care that much, because of the magical darkness inside the words of the pages in the book.

He stole everyone's wish. He used those wishes, and it gave him power. He could do anything! Everyone would listen and obey him! It was so beautiful to him, it tasted as sweet and addicting as chocolate. He couldn't get enough. He needed more.
