As he was walking out unknowingly calm & smiling at the antics of Pranali, was stopped by Utkarsh for a brief conversation, but the moment he saw Yazdu (Pranali manager) approaching him. He cut the conversation & bid adieu because he might do something that he wasn't supposed to. He was super pissed when it came to his work; he doesn't like nuisances or interruptions of any kind—hmm, that's why he is the KING OF ITV.

With long strides, he was about to exit when suddenly his arms were held by Yazdu. He cursed to no one but his timing or his legs for not walking fast. He deep breathed, tugging forcefully his lips upward in a smile to not sound rude.

He acknowledged his fanboying over him and tried to leave. But he held & kept blabbering about things he wasn't interested in. He tried to tug his arm out of his, but he didn't leave. Finally,  when he asked for advice,

"Oh, hmm, advice from me. As far as I've seen you, the best advice is to STOP TAGGING ALONG WITH PEOPLE," he smiled, freeing his hand from his grasp.

"Oh, okay! I will. Thank youu" Yazdu couldn't stop grinning, that finally he was able to get his attention. Otherwise, Pranali had it. Yes, he saw how Harshad had his whole attention on her. Not even once did he glance towards him; that's why he started reading the script with the hope of getting it. But failed, and when he finally thought, now he will. He suddenly left.

Harshad started walking towards the exit when he heard a faint voice.

"Sir! Wait a sec" That voice belonged to only her—soft, tempting, angelic. He thought.

He turned around to just look once, even though he kept scolding his mind for being irrational. But still, his heart wanted to; he didn't know when the next time would be. But till then, he needed to—after all, they will be working together, and he should know the details of her face—an excuse he absentmindedly gave to himself.

When she halted in front of him, his heart started playing games—he was sure something was wrong, something didn't sit well on how his heart reacted whenever she was around.

"Time to visit a real Dr. Abhimanyu Birla before your heart fails with an unknown disease" he sighed and wishpered to himself.

"Huh...Sir..woh..I didn't mea-" when she addressed him as Sir, he got confused. And felt a little pinch of pain...

"Hmm, wait a sec! Rajan Sir, Pranali JI aapko bulari hai" he said with a mischievous smile, hinting at her not to call him *SIR*.

"NO! NO! Nahi, I was talking with you only. And stop giving me Ji and Aap" she hesitately asked him.

"NO! Nahi! Nah! Never! Ever! Pranali JI, since you call me Sir. Oh, you want a ma'am. Okay, Pranali Ji Ma'am," he said with a tone full of playfulness.

"Okay, no Sir, no Ma'am, no Ji"

"If you say so, Fine. But I'm okay with it, you know."

"Stop, okay. I know you didn't like it, so I won't call you sir. And sorry, for... hmm... I didn't mean...I thought Yaz-" she replied, smiling & admiring his down-to-earth nature.

"I understand; I'm sorry too. I didn't mean those words."

"I know"

"How do you know? Can you read my mind? Can you see through me?" He furrowed his brows and asked while crossing his arms, covering his body teasingly as if she could see him bare.

"Ahahaha, stop! No, I didn't mean so. Stop pulling my leg." She laughed, & he couldn't have enough of it.

"Wasn't it the other way around?" He made her recall the incident when she locked his leg between her ankles.

He saw a blush crept up her cheeks; she suddenly was speechless & looking around, feeling embarrassed. He enjoyed teasing her a lot, and he knew working with her would be fun.

The repetitive drone of a booming bass and the tightly packed atmosphere of dance clubs never quite appealed to him, and he certainly hadn't expected the anniversary party of his best friend Arjun to turn into something like a Mumbai nightclub, hmmm as he thought—every party is doomed to resemble a frat house on a Friday night at some point.

Instinctively, his feet pulled him in the direction of the nearest exit, and upon seeing a little sign that read "Roof" he knew where he could make his escape.

As he pushed the door for his temporary getaway, the cold breeze of Mumbai night hit him. As he was trying to get used to it, he felt a chill run up his spine. The moment the door shut behind him, all of the noise from the party vanished, and he felt like he could be himself again—someone who doesn't like to be in a crowd, who doesn't like to open up or let others see through him.

He tread over to the edge of the roof to admire the view, wishing that it was just a little warmer so he could have a moment of relief from all the attention the whole club staff, friends, and girls were giving him.

It was only two minutes to midnight, and he knew there was no way Arjun, Wahi, Shezhaad, Arshad & Rohit would let him leave the party before three in the morning. He just regretted giving in to their pleasess. He peeled his eyes away from the city lights to try to focus on anything other than how he was going to bide his time—but all his mind flashed was Pranali's smile, the morning incident, and the way she blushed. He was trying to shake off this unknown, foreign feeling.

Before he knew it, his best friend Arjun's patted his shoulder, sending a wave of familiarity and comfort through him. It was a gentle reminder that he wasn't alone—he will never be. There was someone by his side who cared deeply for him.

He sighed, his gaze momentarily drifting away from the panoramic view, and his mind wandered, seeking solace in the quiet solitude that could only be found outside the confines of the party. But as much as he longed to slip away, to escape the overwhelming crowd, he knew he couldn't abandon his best friends.

Yet, deep down, he yearned for a respite. A moment to catch his breath, to gather his thoughts, and to find his own rhythm amidst the chaos. He wanted to escape the pressure, even if it was just for a little while.

As they made their way back into the party, he couldn't understand the chaos going on within him. To only see her once again.

'Why is my mind playing games with my fucked brain? Great! Now I have started imagining her. I was supposed to play a Dr. but it seems I NEED A REAL DR!' He thought and scolded himself for behaving like a teenager.

To only get surprised and shocked when everyone started cheering & hooting, "PRANALI! PRANALI! PRANALI!"
