- 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬

Kehani was in her bedroom playing with her Bratz doll on the floor, but then her stepdad came inside the room. Her mother was gone because she was already at work.

"Hey, baby you wanna play that game I taught you," her stepdad said sitting down on the floor in front of her, and she placed the dolls down on the floor in front of her.

She was young and dumb not realizing what was going on, and how wrong it was.

Then her stepdad sexually assaulted her and when he finally stopped he left the room not caring, and she ran to the bathroom.

She found some scissors and started to cut her arm and thighs while crying all while trying to fight the voices in her head, and then she passed out in her blood due to the overstimulation.

Fortunately, her grandmother Rose was coming to the house to bring her some new toys and some lunch.

What she didn't know was that her stepdad had already left the house not even caring one bit about the little girl that was passed out on the cold bathroom floor.

" KEKE," her grandmother Rose yelled into the house and found it weird that the front door was unlocked but nothing was on.

When she got upstairs she saw the light under the bathroom door and tried to open the door but couldn't since it was locked, so she grabbed a Bobby pin put her hair, and picked the lock

That's when she saw her only youngest granddaughter passed out with cuts on her and blood on the floor.

Rose quickly grabbed her phone out of her purse and called 911 all while trying to stay the calm she could.

After the phone call was made it took them at least 1 minute to get to the house.

When they came they put her on a stretcher and rushed her to the hospital.

Her grandmother didn't even bother to call her daughter to tell her what happened cause she knew that her daughter was a sick individual and didn't even care what was going on.

When they rushed her in they told Rose to stay in the waiting room, the whole time she was waiting she was crying and praying to Jesus.

About 20 minutes later the nurse came back with information," the family of Kehani Brown."

" it's just me," Rose said standing up and wiping her eyes free of the tears even though there were still some tear stains on her face.

" Okay ma'am Kehani did have some blood loss down and her reproductive system did have some damage to it but it was minor we were able to repair it other than that Ms.Brown is fine," she said and rose heart just broke due because of what the sick man had done to her grandmother.

She also felt so much guilt, because she wished that she was able to get her granddaughter but she couldn't due to her health issues, and that she just recently received news that she might not recovered from.

" thank you Jesus may I see her" she asked the nurse.

" yes ma'am she's in room 315," the nurse said to her.

Rose nodded her head got in the elevator headed to the third floor went to her room and knocked on the door a little before walking in.

She saw Kehani sitting up watching Barney on the TV it brought joy to Rose's heart to see her granddaughter up and happy.

" Grandmaa," she said excitedly but still in a soft voice because she was still in some pain.

- 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳

Rose had taken her daughter to court and had gained full custody of Kehani.

When that happened she was starting school, and Rose had gotten her into a new school, and Kehani was the happiest she could be.

One day while she was in school, she had gotten called to the principal school and was met by a police officer and her social worker.

" Are you kehani brown?" the officer asked and she nodded her head instead of answering because her nerves were at an all-high.

"I'm sorry to inform you but your grandmother Rose brown has passed," he said in a low voice and everybody around her looked at her with eyes filled with sorrow.

She didn't say anything for the first couple of seconds but when it fully registered that her grandmother was actually gone and couldn't come back this time, she broke down in tears not knowing that her life would go to shit after this day.

" I'm sorry for your loss but we have no choice but to put you in the system because there are no other relatives that can take you and there is no record for a father," the social worker had told her.

When the social worker said that the whole world started to spin and the voices started to fade out and then everything turned back.

𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵.

Kehani hadn't passed out like that in months.

She had woken up in the school nurse's office and everybody was standing over her curious making sure she was okay.

She kept trying to tell herself it was okay and that she was going to be happy at this new temporary home but she wasn't.

She just wanted to be with her grandmother and the only way she could do that was to take her own life.

One day at her temporary home, she grabbed a kitchen knife out of the knife block stabbed herself in the lower stomach pulled it out dropped it on the floor, and collapsed.

Her foster mother came into the house and saw Kehani on the floor bleeding out blood, coughing up blood and she rushed and grabbed her phone to call 911.

When she got to the hospital she managed to survive but she knew that they were finna admit her to a mental asylum because she was on the last strike that they had given her.

That was the last day she saw her real mother because she came to sign the papers to legally admit her to the mental hospital and then she left without a word.
