No One's POV

Y/N was outside with Najenda sitting in the dark. They both sat in silence, staring at the moon. "When was the last time we did this?" Y/N asked. 

"When you were slowly becoming a man. Right before I left I believe." Najenda reminisced about the time when she was a general in the Empire. "It was how I cleared my mind, and you found me on the roof. I still can't believe you climbed the roof." 

"It was fun." He defended. "However, you brought me out for a reason, right?" Najenda nodded. 

"It's been on my mind, and it's an important question." She started before letting out a deep sigh. "Esdeath was a mother to you, and you were an important figure to her. I know the two of you will fight, however, I do fear one thing." 

"Are you asking if I will kill her, or spare her?" He finished. 

"Correct. After all, when two Teigus fight to the death, only one comes out alive. Always." Najenda's face showed Y/N her concern. "I... also, raised you as best as I felt was right." 

"I know. And I'm forever grateful. Truth to be told, though, I admit I don't know what I will do if the time comes. I will say this, I won't hesitate, but it's a matter if I will finish the job or not." He sighs. "I will have to see." He turns around and looks at Najenda. 

"I see. I suppose that'll do for now. I worry still. You'll be a little boy in my eyes." She ruffled Y/N's hair, earning a chuckle from him. 

"Thanks. I'll do my best, Naji."

Y/N's POV

I was in the kitchen cooking with Akame while Tatsumi was busy doing god knows what. I'd assume showering after his training session with Akame. Regardless, I resumed my business of cutting up vegetables and cooking the fish they caught. "So, how'd the training go?" 

"He only caught two," Akame said, munching on some fish I prepared. "This is really good by the way. What did you add to it?"

"Every white person's fear, seasoning," I replied. "Also, be careful eating it raw," I add.

"Thank you. Everything should be done soon." Akame says before taking off her apron and undoing her ponytail. "I'll set the dinner table." 

"I can do that. You can wash up if you'd like." I offered. 

"I'd... like that actually. If you don't mind?" She replies, slightly blushing. 

"Not at all. I did offer after all." Akame smiles. 

"Thank you. You're very kind." With that, she wanders off while I finish up playing Fruit Ninja, or in this case Veggie Ninja in real life. I wash my hands and grab a couple of plates and set up the table. 

"Whoever is here, come eat! Dinner's ready." I called out. Leone and Tatsumi soon came in together, followed by Naji. "Akame's washing up. Feel free to dig in." I said, putting the food down and letting them eat. Akame came back and sat next to Leone while I sat in the middle. 

"So, how'd training Tatsumi go?" Leone asked while digging into her food. 

"Well, besides getting naked and yelling, "Bring it on!" I said before laughing, "He got two fish." Leone almost spit her food out before laughing with me. 

"Ah, so he did end up only getting two," Naji said before taking a bite of the fish. "Well done on the food, by the way, Y/N."

"Thanks. Akame helped me of course, she deserves credit too." I said.

"So, Leone, let's hear about this new job that has been offered to Night Raid." After Leone calmed down from her laughing fit, she quickly regained composure and pulled out a massive bag of gold.

"Holy shit!" I out loud. Najenda looked at me. 

"Really." Deadpan face. Yikes. 

"Sorry. Spoke my mind." I said sheepishly. Leone clears her throat. 

"Anyways, the client wants two people from the Capital dead. General Ogre and an oil merchant named Gamal. You see, Gamal bribes Ogre with large bribes to stay out of trouble, in exchange, Ogre blames an innocent citizen and executes. She says her fiance was a victim. The payment is the huge bag of currency."

"That's a lot..." Tatsumi commented. 

"Did she smell like anything?" I asked. She must've been seeling her body for this kind of money in hopes of her fiance being avenged. 

"She did. My guess is she sold her body several times."

"Did you verify her claims?" Najenda asked. 

"I did myself. Both are guilty and any guard as well are equally as guilty for knowing." Najenda lights up a cigarette and blows the smoke. 

"Very well. Night Raid accepts." 

"Ogre is a general, thus he's going to be the only difficult opponent for this mission. Gamal, I've seen a couple of times. He's going to be easy since he can barely defend himself." I said. "The general is skilled I'll give him that, but he's a drunkard when he's off duty. He drinks on Main Street."

"Security is tight in that place. Akame can't go, seeing as she's as famous as the people in the Capital." I joke. 

"Would you and Tatsumi take the job then? I believe you two will be enough." Najenda suggested. I look over at Tatsumi. 

"I believe I'm capable. I'm pretty fair with a sword. I won't let you down." I pat his back. I smile almost evily with a slight aura surrounding me. 

"Good. Let's take 'em to Hell."

No One's POV

Gamal walked out of his bathroom with a happy expression on his face. "Phew! Now that I've pissed my worries away, maybe I can get some action." He continued wiping his hands until he heard a noise behind him. He frantically turned around, but didn't see anything. 

"Ah! Some good ol' action never hurts. Though, I'm surprised you even get any action." Gamal started to sweat nervously looking around the hallway, wondering where the voice is coming from. Meanwhile, on the roof was Y/N with his Imperial Arms with his claws sticking in the wood. 

"Who's there?!" 

"Oh, that's me. Above ya." Gamal quickly looked up and saw what horrified him. 

"Y-You!?" 

"Missed me?" Y/N grabs his head and twists his entire head 180, snapping his neck and ending his life. "Done and done. Gonna head over to Tatsumi and see how he's doing." Y/N quickly makes his over to Tatsumi using his scent as a GPS. Combined with the smell of blood being close by, he knew he was close. As soon as he got there, Tatsumi sliced Ogre's arms off, leaving him completely vulnerable. Tatsumi quickly closes the gap between them and ends his life with a clean slash across his neck and chest. 

"Time to report back." He returned his sword and spotted Y/N from the roof. 

"Well done." 

Just like that. Easy.
