Summary:

G'Raha goes down memory lane while looking through Carven's Unending Journey Journal.

The expedition of the Crystal Tower. G'Raha introduced himself to Carven who was easily unimpressed.

G'Raha: "Have I made a bad impression to you already."

Carven: "Forgive me but when someone doesn't show themselves and make it his choice to hid in the shadows, I am bound to be suspicious."

G'Raha: "I am but a humble student milady. Nothing nefarious."

Rammbroes: "Be easy on him my dear. G'Raha can be very immature but he means well. Just bare with him."

Cid: "And you should be more respectful considering who you are talking to."

G'Raha: "Isn't she just another adventure?"

Carven: "Oh do tell him Cid so the cat can eat his words."

Cid: (hearty laugh) "My friend this is Eorzea's savior. The young woman who took down the Ultima Weapon. This is the Warrior of Light."

G'Raha: "THE Warrior of Light?!?! Oh Gods......I'm an idiot......"

Carven: "That is true."

G'Raha: "Now I really regret how this meeting started."

Carven: "What's done is done."

G'Raha: "Well I hope we can be better friends. Perhaps even more?"

Carven: "Are you flirting with me?"

G'Raha: "Maybe."

Carven: (scoffs, walks away)

Biggs: "Don't think she likes you that much mate."

G'Raha: "Not to worry my large friend. I can tell Ms. Ridge likes me."

Carven: (from a distance) "Highly unlikely!"

Wedge: (laughs)

G'Raha just watched her go into the tent. He then smile as Carven rolled her eyes.

In the present, it was only a few hours till the morn. G'Raha was the first to wake up. He felt a bit blurry but his vision of beauty he was sleeping beside was breathless.  His mouth was dry so he went to get some water. He then looked at the picture of Hauchefant on the wall. He read that he died saving Carven's life. He was very grateful for that. As he came back into the room, he looked at the small table beside the door. He then looked at Carven sleeping in content and bareness. He then picked up the book and sat on the edge on the bed. He read the title My Unending Journey. As He turned the page, he looked at the first chapter that said Arriving in Gridania.

G'Raha: (smiles, reads)

Carven:

Leaving home was the best decision I ever made. I felt like I had this calling. It keeps telling me..... Hear.......Feel........Think...... I was concerned about it so I conferred with the soothsayers in my small village. They told me I had a calling.......a destiny..... They told me about Eorzea. I placed I had dreamed about going ever since I was a small kitten.
