Furina POV

I could hear people talking.. the murmurs started to annoy me and before I knew it I was waking up, from what seemed to be a long slumber. "Ugh.." I groan as I sit up. I slowly open my eyes all the way and see Wriothesley run out, curiosity wins me over and I stand up. I feel a throbbing pain in my hand. Once I make it to the door, I look down and freak out as I realize. I had seemed to pull out a medical tube from my hand. And.. my hand was gushing..gushing blood. But what freaked me out was, my blood. It was blue.

Neuvillette rushed into the room with Navia, but Wriothesley was still missing. "Furina are you alright?" Asked Neuvillette as he squats and tends to my hand, when he sees the blue blood he looks at me expecting me to speak, he looks around the room and put a bandaid after tending to it. Neuvillette looks at me with a serious expression as he whispers, "we'll talk about this later," as he stand up and looks talks to Navia. "Is Focalors alright?" I ask. Neuvillette turns his head and Navia turns her whole body to look at me "Sorry, who darling?" I gulp, if they don't know her the better. "No one.. could you pass me a mirror?.." I need to confirm that Focalors is still alive. I wanna be free, but I also don't want everyone to die.

Navia hands me a mirror and I stare into it, my eye color faded a little darker, but other than that. Focalors is gone.
I should be happy, celebrating. Why am I crying then?

Neuvilllette POV

Navia walked out of the room to speak to doctors, i turned my attention to Furina and she was balling her eyes out. "Furina?.." I ask as I slowly approach her. "You can tell me about Focalors, it's alright." I tell her
"Uhm..uh.. I have a question.." she asks me, I gently hold her face "Ask away." I respond she looks at me and speaks "How much time has it been since Focalors passed? Did she pass? Was it because of me?" Furina kept asking questions and blaming herself. Eventually she started crying once again and this time, I was holding her face wiping her tears away.

"Furina, how long have you been depressed?"
"Huh?-"
"Just answer me, you can confide in me, you can see me as family, you can trust me, Furina I care about you, I worry. So please answer my questions too."
I look at her with sincerity
"I..I actually don't know.. it's been 500-" she stops and looks hesitant. Then she speaks again,
"It's been 500 years. What year did it start?.. I don't know.."
I nod at her answer, then I ask another question,
"Furina, why is your blood blue?"
She looks at me and shakes her head.
"I don't know.."

After a while Furina falls asleep and I fall asleep on the couch next to her hospital bed. And I have a strange dream..or maybe vision.

"Hydro Dragon, Hydro Dragon" A voice speaks, the voice awakens something in me, I freeze. That voice. I haven't heard it in centuries, could it be- "Focalors..?" I turn around and see her. I knew she had a resemblance to Furina but wow.. she looks exactly like Furina, she's just taller and has longer hair, and a different outfit. "I know you're freaked out and all, you're probably asking.. 'how are you here' 'didn't you die?' 'Why are you speaking to me? Well, let's just say it's about Furina. I'll explain everything to you, don't worry Hydro Dragon."

"Furina is my creation, she's my human half that I split from my divine self, the person I 'used' to be. I became her host, the reason for this was for my plan to deceive the heavenly principles. And save everyone at the same time. A host is something that can control a body, Furina is just my human half. She's missing half of her soul. I can control her because of that. Furina can only see me in her reflection or in some cases right in front of her," I stop her to think for a moment : That's why she wanted the mirror..
"And I have control over her. I pull her strings. Besides the point- well since I have died I passed all my divinity to her, she has all my powers." She pauses and I take this opportunity to speak "That explains her blue blood.." I say, Focalors nods "Yes, her blood is primordial. And it has the same effects as primordial water. Since I have died I couldn't close Furina's host system, so she is at risk of getting controlled by someone else. Even worse now because I made her a god by lending her my powers, she's a bigger target now."

I look at Focalors with a confused expression "And where's my part in all of this?.." she smiles "I need you to make sure Furina is safe, if by any means you notice anything strange about Furina please do contact me. Just have a drink of primordial water and once you fall asleep we can talk. Here's a word of advice, check her reflection. And please, tell her. I'm sorry."

And that was the end of it. I wake up and Wriothesley is sitting next to me in the couch, "Woke up already love?" He smiles as he kisses my cheek. I on the other hand am panicking internally,
What was that? Was that real? How do I help Furina?
"Are you alright Neuvi?" He grabs my hand and holds it. I grab my forehead and groan, all this new information is stressing me out..
"I'm fine Thesley," I look at him and kiss him on the lips, I lick my lips after and kiss him again, then I smile and watch as Wriothesley turns into a blushing mess.
I chuckle as I walk over to the sound asleep Furina and stare at her.

She's gone through so much, and she was forced to not confide in anyone. All that suffering. And she was only human, well I can't say the same anymore. She's an actual god now. Over time I did notice a slight change in her eyes, they had gotten darker and puffier. Perhaps from all her crying. Poor Furina, I truly wish I could have understood sooner to help her.

I walk over to Wriothesley again and kiss him passionately and we're both out of breath after. "Why do you get to be the top?.." Wriothesley asks me, as he buries his face in my chest. I chuckle as I ruffle his hair I kiss him on the lips and bite his lip. And then I back away. "You're such a tease.." He says as he blushes.
