18: The Oldest, The Protector

Fate walked out of her house towards her yard calmly. She let the Mikaelsons think about what they had done to their son and daughter. Fate looked at the yard where her children were playing with their brothers and sisters and their parents. She stared at the sky for a while and said in his heart

"Mom, I wish you were here to see how your grandchildren play with dad but I know you are happy there, now I have Talia, I have Talia as my mother. She is just like you. I hope you are happy."

"Mama!" Morgan shouted when she saw Fate who was looking at the sky.

Fate immediately shifted her view from the bright blue sky to her eldest daughter. Smile a little.

“Morgan, are you having fun?” Asked Fate.

"of course mother" said Morgan.

"Aunt Athena told me how to use arrows well," said Morgan and Laila almost at the same time.

Laila may be Clint Barton's second child but she really is like the first child. And a bit scary sometimes but she can be adult and take care of her siblings more that Cooper

Athena looked at Fate, she knew that Fate was still angry and mad, because of the conversation with Mikaelson, she felt that Fate was not talking but saying everything that had been in her heart.

"Are you angry?" Athena asked while whispering to Fate.

Fate only responded with a nod, she knew Athena could see everything about Fate.

They went back into the house, seeing the Mikaelsons still at each other. Maddison remains a good girl even though her mother forgot her. She approached the Mikaelsons and sat next to Hope.

Sinner easily rolled her eyes, sneered at her youngest sister's behavior but she knew that Maddison Mikaelson-Salvatore would never change.

Fate chose to take her son and daughter to bed, placing full trust in Athena as guardian for the others.

Finn could see that his daughter really trusted Athena and Alec. Fate will not always be here, she has a family and also a job. She will visit often but will not stay more than 1 or 2 months with them. And somehow when Fate returned she was always the first to look after her siblings, and Finn couldn't be prouder of that.

Maddison, who was sitting next to Hope, gave Hope her hand and then said,

"You don't look good, what did Fate say to you? I know she's angry, she's annoyed and hates you. But, no matter what, she's a big sister to us. She's always there when we need her, any time. No matter what we are always making a mess, she always cleans it up for us. I just feel a little bad for her because she never asks for help because of the mess we make," Maddison said.

"Fate seems to really love you guys, doesn't she?" Rebekah said

"She never knew that she was a Mikaelson before. She only knew that her father and mother had died in a city called New Orleans. That's all. She didn't even want to get involved with the world of Supernatural. But apparently pretending wasn't for her. She joined with SHIELD, fighting with the Gods, eventually becoming lovers and everything with Hydra. Nothing is easy for anyone in this family" Ravenna who was far behind the others said loudly.

"She may have never been known to you, never considered, but unfortunately, we always wish we knew her sooner so that we didn't lose time with her. She is someone we deserve to call family more than you. You only share blood, not love. Luca said sharply

"Stop that Luca, it's rude," said Talia

She spoke calmly, even though she knew that everyone in the room was in a bad mood and was letting out their own emotions.

Fate just ends with a son and daughter when they hear the voices of their brothers and sisters talking (read: holding back emotions) with their parents.

She propped herself up at the door outside the room of his son and daughter while hearing everything she could hear.

"But they were never even polite to you," said Luca irritably

"I didn't teach you to talk like that," Talia said calmly while holding Luca's hand.

She knew Luca was angry and upset, but the angrier she got, the more everything would be destroyed.

"Mother is right, we shouldn't be emotional. This is not the time," Athena said in reply to Talia's words.

Finn couldn't be prouder of his niece and nephew who encourage each other and keep each other's emotions from running out at all.

Fate came down, looking at Athena who had data in her eyes. She knew that this wouldn't even go smoothly with young. This conversation led them to hell right now.

"There's nothing wrong with their hatred, but the way you talk about it is wrong," said Fate

"But" Luca want to reply to her

"Don't reply to that. We can talk about that later," Fate said to Luca

Luca was silent, she obeyed Fate more than Athena or Sinner. Mikaelson flinched slightly at Fate's words. She controls their children because they trust her, not because they are afraid of getting into trouble.

"Um... Mom, can we make dinner?" Maddison asked

"Of course," Talia said

She knew Maddison was changing the conversation and trying to distance Mikaelson from Luca's anger which was already at the end. Fate is calm but she has anger issues, while Ravenna and Luca have anger issues and trust issues.

Ravenna has difficulty trusting anyone, while Luca doesn't even trust anyone apart from his family (Mikaelson-Alvarez).

"What do you like Hope?" Maddison asked with a bright smile.

Hope looked at her cousin, feeling the young girl's happiness. For some reason, Maddiosn can always be happy.

"I can eat anything, I don't have allergies," Hope said quietly.

"Mother, let's cook soup and make a big cake!" Maddison shouted after hearing Hope's words and ran down the sofa, even though she didn't need to do. Athena chuckled, Sinner Too.

Elijah saw his daughter who looked happy. Who is happy with all this. He sensed that Athena was happier here than with him at the Mikaelson house.

"Calm down Maddison, we can cook slowly don't need to rush," Ravenna said facing her younger sister.

"You can come," Athena said to Hope

Without a smile, she just offered, not because she wanted to.

Fate knew easily that none of them wanted Mikaelson to stay in this house for long. But they knew that Talia was allowing this so they just let it go.

Hope remained silent, she didn't know how to respond to this question. But Maddison, the youngest girl, had attracted Hope and Sinner to help her cook with Ravenna.

"Come on, hurry up," Maddison said enthusiastically

Luca smiled faintly and looked at those in the kitchen as well as Alec who smiled innocently at his younger siblings.
