Third Person POV

[Y/N] slouches into the backseat of the car, his head resting against the window frame as he watches the world whizz by.

The car hummed along the highway, the world outside a blur of passing buildings and trees.

Our protagonist stared out the window, watching the familiar landmarks fade into the distance.

You thought of your friends one by one. 'Cris, Zeckiel, Abby, Sam, Karlo, JJ...'

[Y/N]: "Okay, spill it. Why am I being exiled to the middle of nowhere?"

The boy finally burst out, unable to contain his frustration.

Dad: "Exiled? Come on, champ, it's not that dramatic." His Dad chuckled lightly.

Dad: "We just thought it would be good for you to spend some time away from the city, breathe fresh air, you know?"

[Y/N]: "Fresh air won't replace my friends, Dad," [Y/N] retorted, arms folded tightly, his gaze fixed outside.

Mom: "You're always glued to that screen, son. We just want you to experience a different kind of life for a while,"

His mom chimed in from the backseat.

[Y/N]: "Yeah, a life with no Wi-Fi, probably," The boy mumbled sarcastically.

Dad: "We're not sending you to the Stone Age, [Y/N]," his dad teased, trying to lighten the mood.

After a pause, [Y/N]'s mom added:

Mom: "Besides, this might help you focus on other things for a bit. You know, outside of your comfort zone."

Dad: "Son, sometimes things come and go for a reason. And that reason is to learn, grow, and adapt." His Dad advice genuinely.

Sighing heavily, [Y/N] conceded defeat, knowing they had a point.

[Y/N]: "Okay, okay, fine. But I'm not promising to like it."

Mom: "I know you will once you get used to it." Her mom smiled at her as she turned her head to her.

The boy returns the same gesture, albeit smaller.

As the car ventured farther down the highway, [Y/N] contemplated the reasons behind this unexpected relocation.

Feeling a mix of frustration and a tinge of curiosity about what this new environment might offer.
