Chapter 40

Three days

It's been three days since Yoongi went inside the apartment and never came out.

Jungkook was hiding in the alley waiting for a particular person whom he was searching.

Suddenly a pain shot up from his heart and he ignored the pain and focused on the main task.

Jungkook's phone rung interrupting him. He took out his phone and saw that it was Taehyung.

He hung up the call and threw the phone back into his pocket.

He started avoiding his mate when he started avoiding Jimin as he couldn't look at him without a guilty feeling that he lost Yoongi.

Taehyung stayed with Jimin and provided the comfort he needed, but Jimin wasn't getting better without Yoongi.

Jungkook started to feel like it's completely his fault that Yoongi is missing as he should have gone with him despite Yoongi protesting against it.

Jungkook was waiting patiently for the person to cross him like a shadow lurking in the corner.

The figure was reaching closer to him and Jungkook was waiting to pounce on him like a deadly predator he is.

Jungkook hid his face more in his hood and concealed his face behind a mask.

When the person turned to walk inside the alley , Jungkook was quick to hold the person's neck and slam him against the brick wall.

The person started wriggling in his hold wanting to be left alive and breathing.

"Where is Yoongi?" Jungkook's voice came out more darker than intended.

"I do...don't kn..know who that ~" The person's voice got cut off as Jungkook tightened his hold around the other's neck.

"Don't spat bullshit Kai, Where. Is. He?" Jungkook asked with a low voice that made a shiver to run down Kai's spine.

He started tapping on Jungkook's arm as his airway was getting blocked and he wasn't able to breathe.

Jungkook needed answers so he left him and Kai fell on the floor emerging into a coughing fit.

Jungkook was searching for him in every nuke and corner as he felt like Kai had something to do with Yoongi getting disappeared.

Finally he was able to find that bastard today.

Jungkook was about to kick him but his phone rung for the nth time making him roll his eyes in annoyance.

Wanting to make use of the distraction , Kai raised himself from the ground and started running towards the end of the alley.

Jungkook ignored his ringing phone, "STOP" He used his alpha voice making Kai to halt in his steps and bow his head in the middle of the dark alley.

Jungkook made his way towards him and stood in front of him.

Not wanting to waste time and ignoring his continuously ringing phone , Jungkook inserted his hands right where the brown wolf's heart was beating and grabbed ahold of the organ giving him life.

Kai shouted in pain and in fear of his death, "I'm asking you one last time , WHERE IS YOONGI?" Jungkook used his Alpha voice one more time making the clouds to erupt in loud thunders depicting the Trueblood's power and anger.

"He....he is in an aban....abandoned ma....mansion" Kai choked out the words in pain.

Wanting to get a clear address he used his alpha voice again on the weak brown wolf, "WHERE IS THAT MANSION?"
