I was sleep in the bed when I felt something touch my nose I just shook my head and went back to sleep and a few seconds later I felt it again but this time it tugged harder and I slowly opened my eyes and saw my baby girl Joyce smiling at me with her thumb in her mouth.
"Hey pretty face" I said sitting up I looked back at Prosper sleeping.
"Daddy" Joyce said moving close to me.
"Yes daddy, are you hungry cause I am" I said and she smiled and nodded. I got up and put on my pants and went to walk out the room.
"Daddy" Joyce said ad I looked down at her, and she raised both arms. "UP!" I picked her up and kissed her cheek and she kissed mine back and we left the room and closed the door behind us I went to the kids room peaked in on Christian he was on the floor playing once he saw me he ran to me with Buzz in his hand might I add that was the toy I brought him, and he hugged my leg.
"Hey my dude hungry?" I asked picking him up kissing him too and leaving the room.
"Daddy" Christian said we went downstairs right to the kitchen and I started to put them in their highchairs but they wouldn't go.
"Nooo" they both whined.
"It's okay I'm not going nowhere I just need to make breakfast promise here sit down it's okay" I said finally locking them in the chairs and I went to the fridge and got out stuff for breakfast and started making breakfast.
After I was done cooking us breakfast I sat down with their plates and they both looked at me like I was crazy. We sat there and stared at each other for about 2 minutes.
"Yall want me to say grace don't you?" I asked and both of them smiled and nodded. Grace damn I don't say grace... "Okay I can do this, I can do this.. okay umm close your face I mean" they both giggled. "I mean close your eyes, God thanks for the food and bless my kids that they may grow big and strong and take out my emenies when I'm too old to do so, and bless the givers and buyers of the food amen" i looked up at them and they was already eating. "Yall tricked me into that when yall was already eating.... Dam—I mean dang can't trust no one these days" I started eating, but stopped to help feed them, once they was done they wanted out of the high chairs and I did that then they both somehow was in my lap eating my food now.
"Yummy" Joyce says
"Can I have some please" I begged then pouted and Joyce start hand feeding me my food. I love these kids I missed them I just wish I could leave and take them with me but I wouldn't do that to Prosper .
"Daddy juice" Christian said shaking his cup.
"Okay yall going to get down?" I asked they both shook their heads no. I stood up with both of them in my arms and was able to get the juice and somehow pour them both some. I was standing there rocking them both from side to side pretending I was going to drop them, making them both giggle, me laughing.
"Daddy crazy" Christian giggled
"Oh yea how about this" I said and started shaking them back and forth which caused all three of us to laugh loud. After I finally stopped I brought them one by one to my face and start kissing their cheeks.
"Loue you daddy" Christian says
"I love you too" I said
"Love you daddy" Joyce said
"I love you too princess" I said then I happen to look at the kitchen door and saw Prosper and Jewel standing there smiling at us.
"Royal" Jewel said walking into the kitchen looking at me, then walking closer hugging me tight. "God I missed you" she whispered the last part in my ear.
