The Beginning

Ira Pov:

I just got back from shopping. I enter the hideout and place the bags on the table. "MARMO! BEL!?" I call out for them. I look around for them.

 My eyes widen in shock as I see Regina... Over their dead bodies...

"I-I-I'm so sorry"

I looked at her and as tears rolled down from my eyes. "W-what happened." 

"I-It was my father.." "What did he-" "H-He controlled me... H-He forced me t-to k-k-kill them.." "Why?" "H-He saw them as distractions... H-He wants us to get m-married."

She knew I liked Rachel and I knew she liked that Maya girl ."He planned for us to get married tomorrow."

In this way we both had no choice but to escape Splendorius and also escape our fate. I teleported to the only person I could think of.. Rachel.

Rachel Pov:

"Rachel! I'm so excited for the sleepover!", Maya exclaims. 

Well. My mom is out of town for work and my dad is climbing another mountain so they wouldn't be home for about a month. This sleepover started out as a study session but Maya convinced me otherwise of course. I hear a warping sound and look up. It was Ira and Regina..Wait... Are they?... CRYING?! They quickly flew into our arms and continued sobbing.

"Whoa, whoa. What happened?" "Bel and Marmo.." "What happened to them?" "Th-their d-dead..." Our eyes widened in shock. Maya and I look at each other before I ask, "How..?"

"I-It was King Mercanare.. H-He forced Regina to do it..."

"Okay.. It's okay. Come on. We'll go to my place. We got you. Trust us."

"O-Okay."

With that we ended up with two mercanares at my house.

"O-Ow! M-My heart.. It hurts!", Ira yelled. His heart was being filled with... Doki Doki.. Love...

"Ira! It's okay! It's love! It hurts at first but you'll get used to it! Promise!", Regina yells out as they only have each other in the mercanare world."

 We arrive home and after a while they fall asleep.

"Maya. We have to talk to the team about this. Maybe they can help."

"Rachel! Normally I'm the one with ideas but you're right. They need help. I can guaranteed King Mercanare will start looking for them once he realizes they're gone."

"Meeting tomorrow 8pm sharp?"

"Meeting tomorrow, 8pm sharp."

~The Next Day at 8pm~

"Maya, Rachel. You said there would be a team meeting here?", Clara says as she arrives.

"Yeah. Come in. Don't freak out but we have guests."

"That explains why both Ira and Regina are here. I'm guessing their our guests?"

"Yeah.. They can't really go back to Splendorius at the moment."

"Why not?"

"We'll explain when the others get here."

Another knock at the door is heard. Speak of the devil. I know Natalie and Mackenzie came together as they said they would.

"Come on in!"

"Hey everyone!", Natalie yells out. She stopped being all bossy when we're alone.

"Hey Natalie! How are you."

"Good."

"What about you Mackenzie?"

"Good."

"That's good. We have two extra people right now "

"Who are they- MERCANARES?!?!?!?"

"Stop yelling."

"WHY ARE THERE MERCANARES?!?!"

Ira and Regina flinched and grabbed onto us. Okay this needs to stop.

Mackenzie and Natalie kept yelling causing Ira and Regina to flinch more and more. After a while light tears could be felt on my clothes. They were crying again. This made me pissed. Maya and I share a glance and we stood up hand slamming down on the table silencing the room. We spoke with a menacing tone as we each took a person, me with Mackenzie, and Maya with Natalie.

"Can you shut up and look before you judge? Look at our "enemies" and tell us what you see," we said, venom lacing our voices.

They took one glace at the poor two clinging onto each other for comfort.

"So?", we question.

"I-I see two traumatized kids...", Natalie says.

"I-I see innocent teenagers", Mackenzie says.

"So, calm down and sit," we say before calming down and comforting the two.

"What happened?", Clara quickly questions after the mercanares fell asleep.

"King Mercanare controlled Regina using Dark Energy. Regina's no longer under its control and Ira can't be used either. Their hearts got filled with some Doki Doki." 

"Even Ira's? How is he not gone??", Mackenzie questions.

"We don't know yet.. I feel like I have some connection towards him but I'll be fine."
