Matty's POV
George just keeps prolonging the inevitable. This arragement wasn't gonna last forever. We are getting married and she's pregnant. I followed George outside. He was anxiously trying to light a cig. I helped him.
"What do you want?"
"George, why are you being like this?"
"Cause... I love her. It hurts knowing it's you she's with. I-I can't accept it."
"Mate, we aren't stupid. I know the way you look at her and watch her every move.... it makes me insecure. I'm scared. You're better for her."
"Shut up you---"
"Let me finish. I fuck up everything. I don't want to fuck up her too. Everything is moving so fast. I need you to be my friend. Support me George. My fiancee is pregnant, my best friend eye fucks her and I--I-- I'm losing it."
My eyes got.. dirt in them. I fell to the ground sobbing but he put out the cig and picked me up.
"Mate, it's okay. Trust me. You and her are gonna last. That woman in there loves you. That's all she tells me. And yes, I do love her but she made her choice and so did you. I have to accept it someday. So let's be more open before this ruins our lives and friendship."
It felt so comforting to talk to George. We hugged. Expressed our fears and dreams like we use to. I wasn't so scared anymore. I have my boys.. my woman and my baby. Alice was so good to me. I love her more than I've ever loved a girl. She is all I've ever dreamed of.
