The dwellers wandered around across the main city peacefully, until…
BOOM!
An explosion had people fleeing from the Metropolis Bank, and thieves dressed all in black with ski masks took advantage of the stampede. Holding cases full of cash in their duffel bags slung over their shoulders, they pointed rifles at the terrified crowd trying to get away from the scene. The thieves just laughed and got in their getaway car, a 1970s Continental Buick Le Sabre that didn’t have GPS in it so no one could try and track it. It did stick out with its red, white and blue paint styled like an Indy 500 race car, with its 5.7-litre 350 cu V-8 engine. It moved out and sped through an intersection, running a red light to avoid capture by the cop cars with blaring and flashing sirens on their tail, equipped across one of the junction and avoided to get captured by the cops heaved toward their tail as they heard sound alarm of flashing blue beacon.
"Couldn't you buy a better car than this trash heap?" One of the crooks complained in the front passenger seat. He had to yell over the loud noise of the engine."This is the only used car I liked, and they can’t trace it. Now close your mouth and open fire on the cops," The driver snarled at his associate, who grabbed his rifle and fired at the Metropolis police cars as they chased them,
Female citizens screamed in fear and protected their loved ones, especially a mother who threw herself in front of her baby’s pram in case any bullets should fly in her direction.
The car screeched around a corner and narrowly missed crashing into a huge tanker truck trailer that blocked the police cars.
The crooks decided to pull off their masks to reveal their beaming faces. The driver, in his late 20s, had a round face with a quiff hairstyle, round green eyes, a straight and uptilted nose, white creamy skin, and wide lips. He had a medium build.
The passenger, twenty years his senior, had white creamy skin with a convex nose and full pink lips. In the back, two other crooks high-fived each other. One
of them was the driver’s twin. Last but not least, the fourth crook was olive-skinned with crew-cut black hair, a concave and lowered nose, round lips, and almond-shaped grey-blue eyes."You guys, we got away," the fourth man cheered.
He spoke too soon. Something or someone dropped with a THUMP on the car’s roof.
"Are you sure about that?" One of the twins retorted.
The car screeched to a halt on the spot as the driver and his passenger froze inside, asking each other which superhero stopped them.
“Batman?”
“Nah, he’s in Gotham.”
“Robin, then?”
“In Gotham too.”
The olive-skinned one waved his arms and hollered from the back seat, "Man, I told you this won't work, and we’ll get caught.”
"You told me that Superman was busy with the Justice League team and so was Superboy and his Young Justice freaks, so who stopped us, genius?” The driver twin shifted his green eyes to spit his cruel words at the boss, who glared at him in the front passenger's seat and popped a refreshing-smelling mint in his mouth. But then they finally got their answer as the person with super strength ripped off the roof as if it were a piece of paper.
The four criminals looked up to see a new brown-skinned superhero with half his face covered. They only could see the top half of his face, with a fringe of black shining hair falling down his forehead and his blue aurora eyes. His mouth was covered with a blue bandanna with a design like the famous Superman “S,” except with a “G”.
