As my 13-hour flight touched down in Istanbul, the soft chime of the intercom brought everyone's attention back to the present moment. The flight announcement echoed through the cabin, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have arrived at Istanbul Airport. Local time is 5:50 AM. We hope you had a pleasant journey and thank you for choosing Turkish Airlines."

I was feeling a bit tired, but not too exhausted to appreciate the stunning sunrise. Ran had just arrived from Manila on his flight as well, and he was already waiting for me by the immigration counters.

As Ran and I locked eyes after four long months apart, a rush of emotions filled the air. I couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and relief to finally see him again. I hurried towards him without hesitation, my heart pounding in my chest.

"Ran!" I greeted.

Ran grinned from ear to ear, his eyes sparkling with happiness as he pulled me into an embrace and whispered, "Tadaima, Ryann."

We embraced tightly, savoring the warmth of each other's presence. The airport bustling with people became nothing but background noise as we reveled in our reunion.

"Happy birthday, Ran," I whispered, my head nestled against his chest.

"Thank you, Ryann. Seeing you again is the best birthday present I could've asked for," he said softly.

We gazed into each other's eyes, lost in the depths of our connection.

"Ryann," he called out softly.

"Yeah?" I replied with a hum.

"I want to kiss you right now," he responded.

I blushed at his words. "Ran! We're in a public place!"

"Later?" he asked mischievously with a grin.

I clicked my tongue playfully. "We haven't gone through immigration yet. Let's go," I told him as I reached for his hand and led the way to the counters.

Ran and I reached our hotel at the heart of Istanbul after an hour's ride. We were in awe of the vibrant cityscape that greeted us. The bustling streets were alive with the sounds of chatter and the aroma of delicious street food filled the air. Our hotel, a beautiful blend of modern design and traditional Turkish architecture, stood tall and invited us in.

We checked in and entered our room, which offered a breathtaking view of the iconic Hagia Sophia. The room was elegantly furnished, with a comfortable bed and a cozy seating area. I couldn't contain my excitement as I looked forward to exploring this remarkable place since it was my first visit here.

But Ran had something else on his mind, something mischievous and playful.

I couldn't help but feel a bit awkward, considering that it had been nearly a year since we first shared a bed together.

Ran hugged me from behind, his warm breath tickling my ear as he whispered my name. "Ryann," he said softly, as if seeking permission for what he had in mind.

I burst into laughter, unable to contain my amusement. "Ran," I managed to say between fits of giggles, "Did you just ask for my permission?"

He chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. His cheeks turned a shade of red, matching the blush spreading across my own face.

"You...you said the kiss...later," he stammered slightly.

Ran looked absolutely adorable, and a rush of emotions swelled inside me as I gazed at him.

This man already had my heart.
