Taigen was under Mizu infront the fire of Master Ejie's forge. Mizu had pinned down Taigen's hands to the floor, leaving him breathless. Mizu's eyes glaring into Taigen's. His eyes we're so beautiful and so hard to look away from. He was smiling but this was a different smile. This was a smile that Taigen hadn't seen before it wasn't like the other ones out of pride or revenge. Taigen had been fighting and running away from the feelings that kept on growing whenever he was with Mizu. Something else had been growing as well.
"Uh...I-I...I must be missing Akemi" He couldn't get the words out all he could do was stare into those eyes.
"...What do you desire from me?"
"Taigen"
Taigen couldn't answer him, his eyes were tearing him apart. He couldn't escape the grasp of the onryo above him nor did he want to, what he wanted was to tame the onryo even for a split second, to see the onryo weak beneath him. The onryo more human than monster as it would feel pleasure for once instead of the sting of the world.
"Taigen!"
The light of the room blinded Taigen's eyes as the first light of day rose. Ringo kneeled by his side, holding some bandages and soup.
Rango had tidied up Taigen's bandages, for they bad gotten roughed up over the nights spar with Mizu.
"Mizu... " His breath was airy, he wasn't sure if it was even audible.
"Master's in the woods gathering some logs for Master Ejie. He'll be back in a little bit, but you should rest. Last night you tore open your stitches. " Rango's voice was happy and light hearted. It always was.
Taigen then sat up with a low grown as he felt the sharp pain of his skin being priced together by silk stichinh. Pricing him together as if he would fall apart but he wouldn't he was stronger than that. He survived a great deal of pain and sorrow at Haji Shindo's hand and all of it for Mizu.
He reflected back into the dream and felt a ashamed of himself mostly but a small part or him basked in the glory of the idea of taming the onryo even if it was only for a night.
