3rd Person P.O.V.:
Sonic and Tails wandered through the destroyed city, where there seemed to be no one but the two of them.
"Tails, do you notice anything?" Sonic asked, who was quite bored. However, Tails just shook his head. "Sonic, let's look for a vantage point. Maybe then it'll be easier to keep an overview," suggested the yellow fox, whereupon the two of them ran towards a collapsed house.
What they saw there confused them.
Mana, who had told Sonic and his friends to look for the (f/a), spoke to the girl she was looking for. The black hedgehog girl looked stressed and pointed in a direction where the (f/c) (f/a) ran before Mana herself disappeared. "Well that will interest the others," Tails muttered. "Absolutely. But for now let's go after the girl," said Sonic before storming off.
At the same time, Knuckles and Rouge searched the altar for clues to the scepter Mana was holding.
"Of course there are technical devices here. Should I destroy them?" asked Knuckles. Rouge shook her head, "Watch and learn.". She quickly tapped a few buttons on the devices and a door opened. "That's how it works. No reason to destroy other people's property," she laughed mockingly, which made Knuckles roll his eyes before they entered the area.
Suddenly, they saw Sonic and Tails. "Hey, guys! We found the girl, come with us!" Sonic shouted before they continued the chase. Knuckles and Rouge nodded before following their friends...
"Shadow, I have a strange feeling," Silver confessed as he followed Shadow through the abandoned lab. The black hedgehog sighed: "We don't have time for that.". Just as Silver was about to say something, he felt something wrap around his neck. Shadow noticed it too and turned around before black, thick fog surrounded him.
"Trust me, it's just for your protection," a familiar voice whispered as the (f/c) (f/a) girl took Silver with her.
Suddenly the two strangers heard voices and fled - with Silver in their control.
