Stan heard the sounds of the night be replaced with music, yelling, and various conversations. As he and Craig walked into Kenny's yard, he noticed various bottles around the yard and sighed in relief. He hadn't drank in a while and was starting to get that feeling. The little voice in your head, and the itch in your brain.

He cleared those thoughts away as they entered the decaying house. They saw a group of kids smoking on the couch while a table was set up with a spread of all the alcohol Stan could need. He walked with casual desperation to the table, taking a plastic cup and looking for the vodka.

After finding a bottle of Smirnoff, he poured a genorous serving for himself and added a splash of iced tea to take away a bit of the burn. He turned and realized Craig was no longer beside him, and after a brief scan of the room, he saw Craig wasn't even in it.

He walked down the hall and into Kenny's room, where he saw Kenny, Leo, and Craig. Kenny looked up at him and grinned, the same goofy gaptoothed smile he knew from all those years. Stan didn't smile back.

"I'm really glad you came, I figured you wouldn't," said Kenny.

"Did you invite him?" Stan replied.

"No, I uh, thought I probably shouldn't." Kenny had a nervous tone in his voice.

"Listen, I'm sorry I blew up on you earlier. I don't blame you for what he decided was necessary." Stan was tense, not knowing how Kenny would react.

Kenny didn't say anything, but he gave Stan a look that said enough. They were cool for now. Stan looked at the rest of the room pretending not to be listening, except for Craig, who was staring directly at him.

As Craig started to walk over, Stan took a drink from his cup. He had been sipping over the conversation with Kenny and was starting to feel buzzed.

"We decided to play truth or dare if you're interested." Craig said.

"Aren't we a bit old for that?" said Stan.

"Since when did truth or dare have an age limit anyways." Craig said as he walked to the forming circle.

Stan rolled his eyes as he sat next to Craig and watched as Kenny came over with a case of coke and a bottle of Ol' No. 7. At least the drinks would be alright, Stan thought. The Jack and Coke was a simple but quite effective combination, and it is as popular as it is for a reason.

"Alright, let's spin to see who goes first." said Kenny.

As he reached in to spin the empty beer bottle in the center of the circle Stan wondered what people would be asking now that they were all adults. All 18 year old adults who are seniors and happen to be  September birthdays. (Ok, we're good.)
