Chapter 2: She's Not Herself

Uzi saw a ladder in a corner of the station.

[Uzi] "Let's go up there! We might be able to find something about the Solver.", She pointed at the ladder.

N looked at the ladder and responded. "If that's what you think will help us figure this out. I'm coming with you."

N went up the ladder first, and Uzi followed him. When N offered his hand to Uzi, she pushed it towards him. His face showed that he was hurting.

N POV:

I think my hand is broken. It hurts...so much. Uzi...the Solver... The Solver is back...I promise that I'll help you, Uzi.

"Ow... Uzi-!" Then, Uzi looks up at N, her eyes have transformed into one eye. It's yellow this time, just like in the elevator.

She starts laughing at me, her laugh is louder and louder. Then, she started attacking me just like when she attacked V at camp.

"Uzi wait!", N begs, wanting to start a conversation with her.

She continues to attack me, I don't know what to do with a broken hand. I didn't expect her to break my left leg either.

"Uzi... Please.... stop...", N says, his voice is quiet and weak.

I can barely speak, it's because she slammed me into a wall. My body is broken, in pain, and I can't move.

My body hits the ground hard, I think the Absolute Solver is in full control of Uzi's mind.

I try to get up but, she holds me on the ground with her tail, it threatens to bite me.

Suddenly, she stops, she walks backwards with caution. She looks scared as she stares into my eyes.

My eyes can't stay open any longer. I'm lost inside the darkness.

Uzi POV:

I can hear his voice telling me to stop, but I can't see him. I can hear drone parts breaking, I don't know if it's N or not.

Then, I can see again. I see him, N. His body is broken... because of me. It's all my fault. I hurt him, seconds later his eyes close.

I pick him up, he's lighter than he looks. I use my wings to fly to the landing pod, the place where we met for the first time.

At The Landing Pod:

Uzi flies down to the ground where the landing pod is, she walks inside, still carrying N.

Uzi POV:

I put him down on a table, he is still unconscious. I help patch the spots where his oil is leaking out, he's hurt really bad.

I open my wings again and take him to the Worker Drone base, my home. Maybe there are worker drones that have the right tools to help N.

Worker Drone Base

"Uzi, there you are!", Khan Doorman said.

[Khan] "Where were you? Your teachers said that you didn't show up for class."

[Uzi] "N and I were trying to figure out how to stop the Solver from turning our kind into murderers. I-I.."

Khan sees N in Uzi's arms, he is shocked that a disassembly drone could get damaged by a worker drone.

[Khan] "Uzi! We need to get him to the doctor!"

[Uzi] "We actually have doctors?!"

[Khan] "Yes, we don't have time to talk about that right now. We have to get him there quickly."

When they got there, the doctors were just cleaning up after fixing a drone's programming (drone surgery).

Doctor Tea POV:

I just finished giving a drone surgery and then I see Khan and his daughter.... she is holding a disassembly drone!

He or she... or they, look hurt really badly. Even though the disassembly drone's kind has killed our loved ones, it is my job to take care of them.

[Uzi] "Please, I-I think I hurt him. I have the Absolute Solver in my program. I didn't mean to hurt him!"

[Khan] "Please help him! His name is N."

[Dr. Tea] "Of course, bring N to the bed in this corner."

Uzi did what Dr. Tea told her to do, then she watched Dr. Tea scan N's hand and leg.

[Dr. Tea] "He has two broken parts."
