Chapter 2: U.A entrance exams

No one POV:

It was the day of the U.A entrance exam and every future U.A students was getting ready.  Shoto had left his house and headed over to U.A, fidgeting a bit. "Your gonna be fine Shoto. This is what you've been trained for," Shoto thought. As he walked to U.A lost in thought, he accidentally bumped into a young boy. "Ahh I'm so sorry! Are you hurt?" Shoto looked up to see a young boy about his age with red hair and bright red eyes that shined like rubies. "... yes i'm fine," Shoto replied and took the boys hands to get up. "I-I'm Ejiro Kirishima! What's your name?" "... Shoto Todoroki but just call me Todoroki," Kirishima smiled at Shoto giving Shoto slight gooesbumps. "Pleasure to meet you Todoroki! You can call me Kirishima. Where are you going to?" Shoto looked at Kirishima before replying "U.A high school," Kirishima's eyes then sparkled a bit. "I'm going there also! Wanna walk together?" "I guess so," Shoto replied. Kirishima smiled and his sharp teeth showed which fascinated Shoto.  The two of them walked together all the way to U.A and Kirishima was the one who mainly talked as Shoto listened. Once they arrived at UA, they went to different rooms.

Shoto POV:

I went to room 4 and as I sat down, I noticed a spiky blond hair boy. He was arguing with a green hair boy and I decided to stop it. "Hey, leave the boy alone," the blond hair boy and green hair boy looked at me. "What the hell did you just say?" the blond hair boy said. "I said leave him alone," "How about you mind your own business," he replied. "I-it's fine. I'm used to what Kacchan does," the green hair boy replied. "Is that your name?" I asked the blond hair and he looked mad. "No it's not. That's what the damn nerds call me," "Then whats your na-" I couldn't finish my sentence as I heard a familiar loud voice. "HELLO EVERYONE! ARE YOU READYYYYYYY!" I looked over and saw Present Mic, the sound hero. My father isn't that big fan of him but I like him when he isn't yelling. I sat in my seat as the boys behind me looked straight at Present Mic. "Alright! Today for the first part of the exams is the written exam. You have 2 hours to answer this and turn it in. Then after this you go into the physical exam which Midnight will explain! So good luck everyone!" We were given our exams and started to answer. About after an hour, both me and the blond hair boy turned ours in at the same time. He gave me a mad glare and I kept my usual monotone expression and went back to my seat.

*Later to the physical exams*

Bakugo POV:

Who does this guy think he is? I can't let him under my skin, focus on passing these exams Katsuki. It was time for the physical part of the exams. These extras won't know what hit them! We all went to the lockers and changed out of our middle school uniforms. I changed into a sleeveless black shirt with green cargo pants along with my orange belt and black-orange boots. I noticed the half and half haired boy talking to Deku. Why was he even trying to stop us? I do that every day to the nerd anyways but I guess that he doesn't know that... ugh what are you saying Katsuki. Get your head in the game.  

No one POV:

All the boys then changed into their sweat and the physical exams began. Bakugo was blasting all of the robots away as Shoto froze them. About after 30 minutes a giant 0 bot same and everyone started to run away from it. "Come on Shoto. If you freeze it that should work," But before Shoto could react, Deku jumped and punched the robot causing it to fall back and break. Deku fell but a girl named Uruaka stopped him from hitting the ground hard and the buzzer rang causing the exams to be done.

Shoto POV: 

I'm glad he's okay, that punch seemed like it hurt. But anyways let's head back home- "Hey Todoroki!" I looked back to see Kirishima running toward me. "Oh hey Kirishima," "Hey man! How'd you think you did on the exams?" "I think I did good," I replied and he smiled. "That's good. I think I did alright... but anyways do you wanna hang out? Maybe get to know each other a bit better?" he said and I hesitated a bit. "Like friends...?" I asked. "Yeah man! My treat!" he said. Well I don't have to be home for a little while and I never really had any friends... "uhm sure I guess. I don't have to be home yet," I replied and his eyes sparkled. "Sweet, let's go then!" I started to follow Kirishima and we went to a small ice cream shop. It was quiet and peaceful. The two of us started to get to know each other better but I decided to leave out information of what the old man does. "So what's it like being a pro hero's son?" he asked me. "It's alright I guess. High expectations I have to follow is mainly all," "Alright man. How do you like your ice cream?" "It's good. This is my first time having ice cream actually," I replied and he looked shock. "You've never had ice cream?!?" I chuckled a bit before replying "Yeah. My family was never into having sweets much so," "Damn man. Well I'm glad I was able to get you your first," he said as he smiled. His sharp teeth is really something else... it suits him and his smile I must admit.

*2 hours later, No one POV*

Kirishima and Shoto were walking home but first to Shoto's home since his was the closest. "Well here's my place. I better get in before the old man arrives," Shoto said. "Your house looks huge! Also before you go inside uhm... wanna switch numbers? Just so we can keep in touch of course!" Kirishima asked. "Yeah it is kinda big and sure I guess." The two of them exchanged numbers and the two of them went home. As night fell Shoto had a hard time falling asleep for he made a friend... a new friend to be specific.
