The Tamaraneans and the Azarathians were at a feud for eons, with no end in sight.
A great war that they have been equally matched for, that was equally as bloody. A magic duel.
If only there was a solution to this neverending feud.

~Starfire POVI woke up from my exceedingly large bed, with a large grin on my face. Today was the day that we would try for a peace treaty, that I helped write!
I got dressed in my favorite and fanciest purple dress, with my signature arm bands and necklace.
I grabbed my small silver tiara and put it on, and flew through the hallways, excitement, radiant on my face.
"Princess, please follow me to the ship. The meeting takes place in Azarath." Galfore stated, as I followed him to the ship. Blackfire was already on it, not even batting an eye to me.
Apparently only me, Blackfire, and Galfore are going. Disappointing that our parents were apparently more busy. Isn't the fate of our kingdom more important?
The ship sped off into space as my face pressed on the glass, looking at the wonders of the universe.
As the ship moved into lightspeed we slowly arrived to a marble-like planet that was grey, white, and gorgeous.
It had a moon, that shimmered as much as the planet.
I never knew Azarath was this beautiful.
As we landed on the planet, we were greated by robed citizens, who bowed at our presence.
When we eventually got into the castle, and the meeting room, the queen wasn't even there yet.. was this not a top priority?!
Momentarily three people walked into the room. One being Azar, the planet elder. Another being the queen, Arella Roth. And the last wasn't in a white robe, but rather a deep blue. She had a blue veil over her face, like they were ashamed of their existence.
I noticed the tiara on the veiled woman's head, that must be the princess.
They all sat down, and I immediately sensed negative vibes from Arella.
Maybe she was so ashamed of her daughter that she forced her to dress differently.
"Hello, Queen of Azarath." Galfore nodded, handing the treaty I wrote over to me.
"What is this about?" Arella sighed.
"Well.. I'm here to ask for you all to sign a peace treaty." I said as I pushed the paper over, of which had been signed by the Tamaraneans already.
"It would be wise to end this war, we've lost so many for nothing." Azar immediately signed it, being a pacifist as usual.
I knew the hard part would be to get the queen to sign.
The Azarathian princess reached her hand out to sign, but was swatted away by the Queen.
"No. You promised us many things, and hadn't delivered anything. Hold up your part of the bargain and we will reconsider." Arella snapped.
"What could we give you to agree?" Galfore questioned, looking at me, concerned.
"We need one of your princesses to marry, our prince-.. cess. It's the only way to make the treaty actually do something in the long run." Arella said, as the Azarathian princess seemed to flinch.
"no that's ridiculous - you can't expect-" Galfore started.
"I'll do it. It's my duty to do whatever I can to put this treaty into action." I stated, standing up.
"Alright then, you have 2 months to get to know each other before marriage." Arella stated.
"You will stay here, we have an extra quarter for you. Everyone else will go back to Tamaran." She said, as Galfore Hesitantly left with Blackfire.
The Azarathian princess walked out of the room, as I quickly followed, drowning slightly.
We went to her room, and it was relatively small for royalty.
She sat on her bed, like she knew I was here.
"... Are you alright?" I hesitated.
"I'm fine." The princess sighed.
"Alright.. well, if we are going to be married, am I able to know your name?" I said, sitting next to her.
"... Raven." She said, after thinking for a few moments.
"Thats a lovely name! I am Starfire!" I smiled, happy to know I got her to open up a little.
"I can sense that you are curious about what happened back there." Raven stared, her tone lacking emotion.
"I suppose.. but you don't have to tell me if you don't want to-" I said.
"No- it's fine. It would feel nicer to open up a little to my .. future wife." She shrugged.
I leaned on her slightly, listening in with curiosity.
"Arella.. doesn't exactly like me that much. I've done many things she doesn't approve of, my existence.. isn't exactly supposed to.. ya know. I wasn't meant to be here." She said, pouring her heart out, with stress covering her tone.
"I'm only half Azarathian. I'm not quite comfortable telling you the other part of me, but just know it's not good. She's ashamed of me. That's why I have to cover my face, and wear a different colored garment. It's so everyone knows about me being the cursed child." She said, pulling at the skin on her arm slightly, stressed.
"Raven.. I'm so sorry. They don't deserve you." I frowned.
"I'm used to it, it's fine." She said.
"... Can I see your face? Only if you are comfortable, of course." I quickly asked.
"If you did, you wouldn't like me anymore." She deadpanned, turning away.
I sighed, she wouldn't be easy to open up to. I felt bad, she wasn't treated well.
But maybe, I could help her.
