chapter one

Summary: Marlena goes in labor and john helped her deliver their daughter into the world.

Chapter one.

The cabin will be a nice little vacation before this little one is born.

Marlena said as she sat in her and john's living room with hope and Kayla who had stopped by to check on her.

Marlena was eight-and-a-half months pregnant with hers and john's first child.

"It most definitely will, when are you guys leaving?.

Hope asked her marlena.

"We're heading out once john gets home tonight.

I'm glad Alice is letting us use it.

Marlena said to her friend.

"That will be nice especially since you and john won't have any alone time for quite a while after the she born.

Kayla told her friend.

"Ugh, don't remind me.

Marlena said as she felt the baby kicked.

"Well, we'd better get going.

Kayla said to marlena as he hugged her.

"Be safe and have fun.

Hope, said as she hugged marlena.

We will.

Marlena said as she walked them out then locked the door behind them.

"Do we have everything?.

John asked as he came back in from loading the car.

"Yes, I think so.

Marlena said to her husband.

Alice said she stocked the cabin with everything we could ever need.

John told her husband.

"Okay, well as soon as I go to the bathroom, I'll head to the car,

Marlena said and she kissing john gently on the lips.

Okay.

John said as he rubbing marlena's stomach.

He felt their daughter kick.

"Hey, there, baby girl, stop kicking your mama so hard.

John said to his unborn daughter.

The baby seem to calm down at his voice and touch.

"You have quite the way with her, and she's not even here yet.

Marlena said as she turned and made her way to the bathroom.

"We're almost there, you guys doing okay?.

John asked his wife as he merged into the next lane.

"Yeah, getting a bit stiff, but other than that, I'm okay." "

What do you want to do when we get there?.

Marlena asked through a yawn.

"How about you take a little nap while I unload the car then we can figure out what we want to do for dinner and the rest of the evening?.

John asked his wife.

Marlena would have fought john about taking a nap while he unloaded everything, but the
baby was wearing her out and a nap sounded heavenly right about now.

Sounds like a perfect plan to me.

Marlena said to her husband.

Ten minutes later found them at the cabin and marlena heading for a much needed nap.
