Summer sat down on her desk, her fingers trembling as she opened the letter, revealing a metal disc of sorts with a button in the center. Unsure of what to do she decided to press the button.

A bright light emerged from the disc, revealing it to be some kind of holographic device. On the screen was a.. rat? bear? chimera demon thing?

"Hello!" The.. whatever it was waved cheerfully. "Am I a mouse? A bear? Or a dog? Neither! I am the Principal!"

"Oh, that thing is the principal." Summer muttered.

"I must say Miss Reyn you performed spectacularly. You showed mastery over the bo staff you have and amazing physical prowess. Judging from your performance, your quirk must be the sensory type. As you must know the Reyn family is somewhat well known for their diverse quirk. It genuinely excites me that you will be joining us this year!"

'Well I knew that. Some members of our family in the past were heroes.' Summer nodded. 'Wait, he said what!?'

"That is correct Miss Reyn. You scored 40 villain points which is enough for you to pass! However, there was a hidden aspect to the exam!"

"A hidden aspect?"

"During the exam, not only did you take down the robots, you also helped several participants who needed it. This is a hero school, how could we not reward such heroic behavior? Which is why we have rescue point! A panel of judges decide the amount of rescue points and you Miss Reyn have earned yourself 15 rescue points, putting your total up to 55 points! Congratulations Miss Reyn, and welcome to your Hero Academia!"

"I DID IT!" Summer cheered in glee as she ran down the stairs, already seeing that her mother was preparing what looked like a big dinner, while her father n brother held a 'congratulations!' banner.

She turned to her brother. "You peeked?"

Shuichi shrugged. "Saw you running down the stairs with that ugly smile, thought it must mean good news."

She pushed him over the couch as her parents congratulated her.

"Congratulations Summer, we knew you'd do great." Mom told her.

"Our daughter the hero." Dad said happily. "You'll make it far."

Summer turned to Shuichi who shrugged. "You did well for a newbie."

"Just cause you'd do better doesn't mean you gotta rub it in." Summer complained as she and her brother got into a slap fight.

But it's not like she was lying. Shuichi's mastery of the family quirk was levels above hers. He had spent years training and developing his quirk.
