"I love you, y/n," he blurted out.
You whipped your head to the side where Robin was laying next to you. His gaze was scanning your facial features, trying to gauge your reaction. Tears pricked your eyes and before you had any chance to stop them, they ran down your cheeks. Robin's brow furrowed and a look of regret started to bloom on their face, but that was entirely short lived because in less than a second, you let out a chest shaking sob and dove into their arms.
Your lips pressed against his in a way that spoke more than words could, but that didn't stop you from saying it anyways. "I love you so much, Robbie. God, I love you," your statement sounded like a promise; a promise you'll never break. The smile that spread across their flushed face will be in your mind for the next eternity.
Tears stained your glasses as you you lay yourself on top of him, pressing your chest to his and hugging him like your life depended on it.
You finally found home.
