Carla's eyes darted between Kuchel, Eric, and the hooded figures, a mix of concern and curiosity on her face. "Survey Corps?" she questioned, her worry deepening.
As Kuchel and Eric briefed Carla on the situation, River, their younger sibling, emerged from the house. Noticing Kuchel and Eric, he asked, "Hey, how was the trip?" without realizing the presence of the hooded strangers.
Kuchel exchanged a glance with Eric, realizing they hadn't yet explained the full situation to River. "River, we've got some guests, and there's something important we need to discuss," Kuchel explained, her tone a mixture of caution and concern.
