Jimin had made it home safely much like the man had wished for him to but once he slipped inside his bed he prayed he'd wake up just now and figure out that it was a dream all this time but nothing of the sort happened and he felt greatly discomforted and demented. So many thoughts, so many emotions running through his veins alongside his blood that he nearly gets himself dizzy with all the twisting and turning he's done. Was the man truly real? The butterflies? The place itself? Jimin wasn't dreaming and it all exists? He doesn't want to come to a conclusion just yet but it's not like he has much of a choice because it's all very clear, laid before him like a vivid tapestry. He can't deny it any longer but he doesn't want to accept it either so he takes an oath in his head before sleep takes him, whispering or not tomorrow he'll visit that place again, bring his phone with him, and perhaps click a few pictures as well so his mind will truly believe it's true. He'll visit the place and be as conscious as he can be to wholly understand if he had just been messing with his own mind or if it's actually happening and true.

Another day slipped away like a moment in time, it was all like how it always is, he spent half of the early morning with his grandparents as they all usually wake up early, and although it was a struggle for Jimin to wake up this quickly after he had just fallen asleep he managed to do it nevertheless. After that, they had breakfast and he took the bus to school. His tired state must've been visible to his friends as well as they pointed it out and joked about it, Jimin had laughed then but he was only putting up a facade because he hadn't stopped thinking about last night at all
Nothing was entertaining him enough to take his mind off of the events that occurred the previous night and the business of his senses made him fake his usual demeanor just so his friends wouldn't worry about him. He couldn't tell his friends because he knew if he did, he'd be strictly forbidden from visiting the forest so late at night when there were so many nocturnal animals lurking around. and if he told his grandparents, well that would just end way too hazardously. He knew his family and friends well and he knew they worried too much about him that if they discovered he was playing such risky and dangerous games they'd never let him do this again, which he doesn't want and therefore he can't let anyone know.
Hoseok had been worried about him and questioned him many times if everything was okay and if he needed to talk about something because of his bizarre zoning out behavior but Jimin denied the polite offer, chalked up a smile, and assured his friend nothing was wrong. His grandparents had only scolded him for staying up late considering his eyebags because they weren't aware of the reason he was doing so and he'd promised them he wouldn't next time and just like that, he managed to hide his antics from everyone and now it was finally the time again to seek the truth and that place.
Jimin walked through the forest, pushing away the hanging branches from his face and keeping track of his steps. Both times he came here he was overwhelmed by one thing or the other, dazed or drowsy, so now that he was doing this all of his senses heightened he had to try his best to recall the path and not get lost instead. And as soon as he walked past the now familiar hollowness of the forest, somehow his feet began working on their own as if they weren't under Jimin's control but something mystical
The blond chalked it up to muscle memory and left it as that, trusting the feeling all too well as he now stands before the same vine-guarded entrance to that paradise. He inhales a deep breath and walks inside of the place, not really sure of what he's expecting but the sight no longer surprises him. It's there, spread out in the most idyllic manner, stunning and euphoric just like the last time Jimin had been here. The blond licks his lips, aware now that this is no longer just a dream and everything that is here, exists here, and has happened here is perfectly real
