It's been a few weeks since Link and I shared a kiss in the elevator. I had mixed emotions about where we stood. I wouldn't mind pursuing a relationship with Link. I just didn't want the Mythical fans or the crew to look at him and I differently. At work Link and I shared a few glances and small talk.
He hasn't brought up that night much. I'm starting to question if he regretted kissing me.
I was typing furiously on my laptop trying to come up with some good ideas for the episodes to come and all my mind could focus on was Link. His soft lips moving in sync with mine or how our tongues danced against each other. The way he tasted of subtle peanut butter and coffee. How his cologne and aftershave filled my nose comforting all my thoughts.
The soft knock at the door pulled me from my thoughts. I got up and made my way around the desk to open the door. Links tall soft figure was standing there with a single wildflower and a coffee. I gave him a small smile and moved so he could come in. I softly closed the door and turned to face him.
"It's not Friday. Why the coffee and the flower?"
"We haven't talked much since that night and I just wanted to apologize and bring a peace offering in case you were upset with me."
I grabbed the coffee and the flower smiling while feeling the heat start to rise to my cheeks.
"Well thanks."
I started to go back around my desk before I felt Link's hard gently grab my wrist. I set the items down and turned to face him. He gently put his hands on my cheeks and bent down. Colliding his lips against mine.
There were those sparks again just like the first time he kissed me. I felt his tongue glaze against my bottom lip. Once I parted my lips his tongue once again danced against mine. My hands found their way to his soft hair lightly pulling.
One of his hands found its way down to my waist pulling me closer as the kisses slowly got more rough. Link slowly lifted me on the desk getting in between my legs placing soft kisses all the way down to my neck.
I was breathless to say the least. It was just him and I. The way he gently kissed my neck and collar bone left me putty in his grasp. His gaze met mine as he pushed up his glasses.
"I'm sorry darlin. You just have me under some type of spell."
I giggled at him. Just hearing darlin fall off his tongue made me feel certain things.
"Link? What are we?"
"Whatever you want."
I looked at the man uncertain on how I wanted to go about this conversation. I wanted to tell him I wanted to be his. Little by little Link was breaking down the walls. I felt safe with him. I knew what my heart wanted but I was afraid of getting hurt once more.
Link looked into my eyes and saw the thoughts racing. He grabbed my cheeks and softly kissed me again pulling me from them. I softly smiled feeling the heat once again rise to my cheeks.
"Darlin you can think about it before you let me know. I don't know if this would ease your pretty little mind but you should know I would love to pursue a relationship. Not one of those friends with benefits. A real loving relationship."
I sighed in relief knowing where he stood.
"Link I would like to also pursue a loving relationship with you."
"Well before we make it official, if you would like we can call a meeting with the Mythical crew and then tell the Mythical Beast."
I nodded at him and slowly got off the desk.
"I would like that."
"Then it is settled. I will start spreading the word of the meeting."
I watched him leave my office softly closing the door behind him. I sat at my desk and smiled like a total idiot. I can't wait to see how everything goes. Hopefully the universe will be in my favor.
Much Love!!
