That Day

Context

Hi! I'm Valerie but you guys can call me val, when I was about 16 my parents were pressured into giving me to the mafia boss.
I hated the decision but I couldn't fight back, I thought it would at least be for me to be a maid or servant. But right when I first met the mafia boss Ace, I knew this wasn't going to be like that. Ace would stare at me with a smirk to his face. At first I didn't mind it but when he told me I had to sleep with him in the same bed made it uncomfortable. I tried getting used to it but he would yell at me if I was hesitant to do something, even physically abuse me. I was scared then one night I had enough I walked out saying I was going for a walk and straight up left trying to clear my mind. I knew my decision was dangerous and Ace could easily find me but I had enough. It was dark outside and I just ordered a Uber to the nearest park to take a stroll. All of a sudden I'm face first with a tall figures chest. I look up to see a tall figure smiling down on me. I got lost in his eyes then he said
Colt : "hey there are you okay? what are you doing out this late?
Val: "oh nothing I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going."
I found out his name was cult and we really got along he offered to let me stay a night as his place and I accepted as even if I were to get killed no one would know.
He lead me to his car and it was a pretty nice Range Rover, it definitely suited him.
We start driving and my phone is going off like crazy, It's probably Ace. He has a tracker bracelet on me that's permanent and I can't get it off so he is probably gonna do something.
Colt: "you alright? You look distressed."
Val: "yea I'm good, just a bit tired."
Colt: "oh alright thats understandable, also why does your phone keep going off?"
Val:" oh don't worry about it, it's work stuff I got off early and my co workers miss me."
Colt: "alright, I was a bit worried."
I cannot let him know about ace yet.
