"Nancy," I told her.
"I love him!" She got angry.
"Ok! I didn't ask about Steve. I asked about Barbara!" I told her.
"She doesn't want to come to the party tonight," she told me.
"We're going to leave her alone? She's our friend!" I told her.
"You should ask her," she told me.
"I will. I'll be coming Nancy," I told her and left. I walked to Barbara as she did her locker.
"Hey Barb! Nancy would really love if you would come with us to Steve's party," I told her.
"I get it. But why Steve? He's the King of Hawkins High! They hate me. Hate us, Amelia!" She told me.
"I know. But Nancy. She's our best friend and she would want us to come with her. And I would love to. Steve hates me. I know that but Nancy informed him. If anything goes wrong, we leave. So. What do you think?" I asked.
"I'll come. Only this once. Because my best friends want me! I'll pass for you and Nance," she told me and closed the locker.
"Good! Yes! I love you, Barb!" I told her and hugged her.
"I'm always here for you," she told me.

I arrived home and found Dustin eating lunch.
"Look who arrived," Dustin told me.
"Your sister, I'm guessing," I told him and smiled.
"Hello Lia! Lunch is ready," Mom called me.
"Hey Mom! Great thanks! I'm starving," I told her and went to my room. I placed my bag down and walked downstairs.
"Mom? At night, Nancy has a party with her friends. May I go?" I asked.
"No drinking or drugs?" She asked.
"Yes! Mom! I know how to take care of myself," I told her. I ate lunch and stayed talking with mom. I told her all about school and about tonight's party. After lunch, I went upstairs to the room and Mews followed me. Mews sat on my lap as I started my work. Mews loves me the most. I bonded with him as he was still a kitten as I got him. He loves to play with me and I feed him. After hours, I got dressed and heard Barb's car. I walked downstairs and found Dustin with a walkie talkie.
"Going to take care of some duty," he told me.
"Okay... I'm leaving. Bye mom. Love you" I told her and left. I ran in the car and thanked Barbara. We then drove to Nancy and picked her up. After a short drive we arrived to a big mansion. We walked to the door and knocked on the door. Steve opened the door and he saw me.
"You got Amelia and Barbara with you?" He asked Nancy.
"Yes. There my best friends," Nancy simply answered.
"Is there a problem with that Harrington?" I asked.
"No...no," He turned red and let us in. We walked out to the pool and found Carol and Tommy H.
"Look who arrived," Tommy told us.
"Yeah. Great eye vision," I hissed back.
"I like her," Tommy H said.
"Don't you have a girlfriend who is clearly not deaf?" I asked and Carol smiled.
"Ah. Yes," He turned red. I sat down on a deck chair near Barbara. We heard Tommy and Coral shouting.
"Chug!" they told Steve who was clearly chugging. I just clapped and looked at the pool. Just than Steve threw Nancy in the pool. I laughed and smiled but than felt someone picking me up, bridal style.
"Now Henderson," It was Steve.
"Nah uh!" I protested hitting him playfully, but tried to stand up.
"Don't ruin the fun," Tommy told me.
"No. I don't want to swim," I told them.
"Come on!" They told me.
"No Steve!" I told him as he swung me.
Just than someone pushed both me and Steve in the pool. I held my breath as I sank down in the water. I heard people screaming my name. I tried pulling myself but it didn't work. I closed my eyes trying to stop panicking but than I felt people pulling me up. I took a breath and opened my eyes, finding Steve, Tommy, Carol, Nancy and Barbara looking at me.
"God... Don't do that... again," I breathed. I stood up and turned to face Nancy.
"Is this what a party is supposed to be? Well if it is. I'm never ever coming again with you Nancy! You stay with your friends Nancy. I'll stay with what I have! Your boyfriend and friends almost drowned me because they can't hear shit! It's always what they want. I'm going," I stated turning to Barbara. She had a bandage around her wrist.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I cut myself," she told me.
"You see Nancy. I'm not coming to these stupid parties with your cool friends anymore Nancy. My mom will kill me finding out this and she will report all of you. But I won't. I will never report what happened. Barbara. I'm going, my mom will come for me," I told her and took her hand.
"Look Lia. I'm sorry," Nancy apologized.
"Don't apologise. You did nothing. But don't let them change you. I'm off," I told her.
"I'll see you tomorrow Barb," I hugged her tightly and left. I walked down the road and looked around me. It was dark and something started to move amoung the trees. Something than jumped out. It wasn't any animal. A creature. I started running for my life and ran home. I kicked the door and closed it. Dustin and Mom were sitting down quietly.
"Mom?" I asked.
"Why are you wet sweety?" She asked, her voice trembling.
"I fell in the pool," I lied.
"Lia," Dustin told me and I nodded.
"Will is missing," Mom cried.
"No," I whispered.
"He's been gone for some time now and there is no hope," She told me.
"Oh my. I'm sorry Dustin," I hugged him.
"We'll find him!" Dustin cried.
"We will. I'll help you," I told him.
"Dustin, he's under house arrest till we find out what happened," Mom said and I nodded.
"I'm going to dry myself," I told her and went upstairs.
I dried myself and sat on my bed. I couldn't believe what just happened. I almost drowned, again. They won't realise what's wrong. And they will never.
~4 months ago~
"Isn't it beautiful?" Noah asked.
"Yes," I answered, standing in front of Lovers' lake. A beautiful sunset in front of us. Noah looked at me and smirked. I gave him a look of confusion. Just then I felt something grabbing my wait and my legs. Before I could attack, they threw me in the water. I didn't know how to swim, and I struggled to swim. My head went underwater, and I sank to the bottom. I kept panicking and screaming, loosing my breath. As I took my last breath something pulled me up. I blanked out.
Me and Noah dated for a year and I loved him with all my heart. But from that day on, I couldn't trust anyone and never swam for 4 months. Me touching water, I would start panicking. Yes. Its pain!
