14. Friendship

Kookie:I know that this is a bit much and also know that you don't have any friends except Hyungs. Though I want to know why but that's for another time. But for now I just want to be your that FRIEND infront of whom you don't have to be THE CEO carring all the burden alone or THE LITTLE BABY to make the hyungs feel you're all okay and happy. With whom you can be just you to. So that I can also be just me. Let's be friends Hyungie.

[Looking at those shiny eyes of the younger Tae though how can he read him this clearly. Not even Hyungs know him this well. And those hopeful eyes converted his comfused state to a somewhat blissed one. Though he was still insecure about his hidden identity but the urge to keep the younger close overpowered it for the time being. And he thought what's the big deal in being FRIENDS with a little hidden secret that will come out eventually. So..]

Tae: <Holding Kookie's hand resting on his cheek with eyes filled with unexplainable emotions> Kookie...

Tae: Thank you so much bunny. I really am a bit overwhelmed though. I thought to make you my friend but knowing you, it was clear that it would be difficult to gain your trust but again thank you so much for trusting me bun. And tbh I'm a bit surprised that you understood me so well in this short span of time. Don't tell them but more that my Hyungs actually <said sheepishly> And bun though I fell tired after work and all but the strict CEO or the baby for my Hyungs I don't pretend any of it. It's just me and my different shades that all constitute me. And I have many more you will get to know with time... <said the last line with a tone kookie felt odd but couldn't pinpoint>

Kookie: I might have an idea Hyung. I know you never pretend as I know how much I like to a baby to Jin Hyung and now to you all. Loosing ones childhood is not easy I guess <ended the line with a sigh and longing in those doe eves>

[The night was getting cold and it was way too much emotions for both of them]

Tae: lt's getting cold bun let's go inside and head to bed. Tomorrow you guys are shifting so it will be tiring. So rest well.

[saying that Tae went towards the door and Kookie became a bit sad as
Tae didn't gave him a proper answer and then..]

Tae: And no matter what you'll always find me standing next to you. As a friend, as a Hyung when ever you need me.

[Tae suddenly said without looking towards Kookie as he was not sure that he could bear to face him or not. As his tears was rolling down his cheeks. And went towards his room. Without the knowledge of the smile and warmth he left behind for the younger.
That night also both of them went sleepless like most of their nights. But today it was different as today their sleep was taken away by their heart content and a peaceful warmth that surrounded them. Which they both crave for life]

[And the next day it was really tiring for everyone. It was almost evening by the time they finish shifting everything]

Hobi: Hyung you brought the whole apartment or what? <he said while sitting beside everyone on the couch after bringing the last box inside>

Jin: I've. Got any problem?
<said with a deadly glare>

Hobi: No, no. Not at all... I was just saving hehe.. Bear let's show Kookie his room what say?

Tae: Hm let's go...

[Tae almost ran while dragging kookie, looking like a excited little kid want to show off his new toy. And a shoked and startled Kookie just following him like a puppy. Making the hyungs smile and trail behind.]
