Souya wakes up with a fluttering feeling in his stomach. It's feels like the adrenaline rush you get from riding a roller coaster. It's about 5 in the afternoon when he gets up and even though breakfast has long passed, he's in the mood for cereal. When he finishes getting himself ready, he walks downstairs to see his twin on the couch, playing the game, as usual.

Turning when he hears Souya coming downstairs he faces his attention back to his game and says,  " 'Morning."

"Good morning." He replies.

"The gang's going to a club tomorrow night to celebrate Hina and Takemichy's anniversary. You comin' right?" He says, glancing over at him on his last word.

"Obviously? Where else would I be." He responds as he searches the kitchen for cereal.

"Jus' askin'. How'd it go at the shop last night? Sorry I had you closing on your own, I was at Baji's." 

Souya stills, reminiscing on the memory of Rindou coming in and even driving him home. He smiled to himself as he imagines the strong smell of the alpha's scent again, "Its fine, everything was as usual."

"You sure?"

Souya raises an eyebrow, "What do you mean by that?". There's no way that his brother knows. Rindou's car is dark and he was most likely already asleep when Souya got back. Plus, the cleared the surveillance footage of Rindou coming in and out so he wouldn't get anything from there.

He watches as his brother corks up a smile, "Nothin' I'm just teasing. I'm mainly asking because apparently Haitani is back in town."

Souya remains calm to not let his scent spike, "Oh really? Which one?"

"The older one, Ran." Naohya says. Souya knows how much his brother dislikes both of them. "I hate that fucker, what is he even doing on this side of town? I bet he's down here catching strays." His hatred for both is apparent but he despises Ran. He was already pissed because he ended up in the hospital but seeing Mitsuya there too, just put the icing on the cake.

Souya nods, "Where'd you hear him being in town from?"

"Tora. Last night while I was at Baji's, he and Chifuyu came back from a date. He told us that he saw Ran on his way back."

"Did he talk to him..?"

Naohya shook his head, "Nope, the guy was just riding around with his windows down. He must've been pissed because Chifuyu said he could smell his scent even after they had passed."

"Good to know. If he really did make a special visit then he didn't take a trip near the shop, it was just our everyday customers."

Naohya hummed in understanding. "I still don't trust that though, there's no telling what he was really here for." He murmured, just enough for Souya to hear as he sets his controller down on the clean coffee table in front of the couch.

Souya sighs and takes a seat on the couch next to him, "Just ignore it, you shouldn't let it bother you so much."

"I'm trying but I have a bad feeling about it." Naohya sighs and stands up, "I'm gonna go take a shower, after you get done eating, can you go to the liquor store for me?"
