For Kirishima, it was almost dinnertime. And he was starving. The red headed boy had only eaten eggs for breakfast, and he had to finish his math test during lunch. So, even though it was only 4:30, Kirishima hurried to the dorms, starving. As he was walking, he felt a hard pat on his shoulder.

"Heyyyyy!"

The pink haired girl was probably the perkiest girl he knew. Kirishima smiled at the thought of her bright, cheerful face. Kirishima had always admired her charisma, in which she was able to make everyone smile. As Mina slapped his shoulder and jumped in front of him, he tried not to wince at the feeling of her warm touch.

"Oh, hi, Mina. Who'd you get paired with for the project?" Kirishima asked conversationally.

Mina grimaced. "I got paired with MINETA! And he kept hitting on me while we talked! Do you think I should I ask Midnight to switch me? Or is that too mean? Ugh!"

"Hey, don't insult my man Mineta like that! He's... never mind." Mina had already bounced over to someone else and was now talking to Jirou, who was sulking by herself. Kirishima sighed and swung open the door to the dorms. People passed through, swerving in and out as they chatted with each other. Kirishima waited a bit impatiently for everyone to pass though, before walking up to his room and gently closing the door. He knew that Shoji was sick and Kirishima hated to bother him.

He quickly grabbed a protein bar, munching down the bar as if he hadn't eaten in years. Kirishima sat down and had just finished his bar when his phone began dinging multiple times, blowing up with messages.

The phone had 15 missed messages, all from his mother, who was usually at work at this time. Kirishima curiously clicked, and his jaw dropped at the content of the message.

He stood up, sat back down, then stood up again. His eyes darted around, and his arm shook with both fear and shock. His fingers twitched violently. He needed to hit... to kill... Kirishima grabbed the first thing he could and smashed it. He began violently punching his punching bag, slamming down so hard that the stand broke and it shattered to pieces. The pillow was next, and he issued a barrage of hits to the black cushion.

He couldn't believe that HE was dead. Kirishima's biggest mentor, his #1 supporter, his best friend. How it happened, Kirishima didn't know. But he was going to do something about his death.

Kirishima smashed his vase full of pretty flowers next. The glass cut up his hands in places he couldn't see, but it was as though he was immune to the pain. His feet were cut up by the sharp glass as he bended over and picked up all 17 tulips.

Mina had been chilling in her room when she heard the loud crash. She stood up instinctively. Barely anyone was in the dorm at this point. There were barely any groceries, and half the class was out doing extra work or buying food. Mina hurried over to the sound of the last crash.

It was Kirishima's room. Mina relaxed in knowing he probably wouldn't be hurt. Kirishima had fast reflexes and hardened skin. He would've used his quirk fast enough so he wouldn't be hurt. She was about to leave to go to the couch when she heard the sound of metal.

The door opened and Kirishima looked up to see Mina staring at him, concerned. He was surrounded by shattered glass pieces and cut up flower petals and stems. His scissors were placed on his desk. Blood was splattered everywhere, from stepping on sharp glass pieces.

Mina glanced at the fallen punching bag, the glass, the flowers, and his phone that was blowing up with notifications. Kirishima could guess from her worried look that she didn't think he was sane.

"Are," Mina paused when Kirishima made a small noise, "you okay?"

Kirishima brushed away his long hair from his face. "Yeah. You can go now."

Mina winced at the words, but continued talking. "Do you have a broom in here?"

"I'm fine, Mina. Leave." He pushed her into the doorway.

"Kirishima, rejecting me won't change anything!"

"Just leave! You weren't so bad at that twenty minutes ago!"

Mina froze. "What do you mean?"

Kirishima sighed. "Go, Mina."

Mina stared, openmouthed at the fact that one of the nicest boys in her world had forcibly pushed her out of his room. She heard a kicking noise and winced. Kirishima's feet and hands were bloody, and she didn't know how to help him.

What had made him so mad?
