Chapter 2

Emily's Pov

Iv been thinking about Matthew , I just can't seem to get him off my mind . I would sometimes just sit and wonder about whether me a Matthew could ever date but then I would just snap myself out of those stupid thoughts . Matthew Harris does t know me and he probably never will

It was Monday which meant back to school , I decided to walk today I could do with the exercise . As I arrive at school I could feel people's stares burning my back . Before I went into the school building I could here this girl tell her friend "she is the girl who threw herself at Matthew" . What the hell? Why would she think that . He was the one who bumped into me .

Inside the chilled school building I could see Katty , she was with her boyfriend Liam. I didn't like him. Not because he was rude to me or anything it's just ever since he and Katty had been dating , me and Katty haven't been as close as we always were . I know I should like a total losser but Katty had been my only friend since kindergarten. If it wasn't for her we wouldn't even have been friends because I would have been to shy to start the conversation with her .

"Hey" Katty says as she walks over to me .

"Hi"

"How are you ? Is your head still hurting after the fall "

"Shouldnt you be more worried about Matthew? Everybody else is. When I came in the school I heard some girl tell her friend that I threw myself at Matthew."

" Who the fuck said that Emily ? Tell me now ! Let me go bitch slap that girl then she'll never speak like that again."

"Katty , no ! chill , you should know by now that I don't bother me by what others think ."

"Okay Em but if someone hurts your feelings in any way ,let me know "

I get Biology first period today , with Mr Wilkens . I really hope he hands out our term tasks so I'll have something to do with all my spare time .

Matthew's Pov

"Josh , bro what do we get first period ?"

"Arts"

"Cool, I'm going to skip class so cover for me "

"Sure , but Matthew wait . Where are you going ?"

"I'm going to look for Emily"

"Okay , oh and Matt she get Mr Wilkins first period "

"Thanks , see you second period"

I'm so determined to find Emily , she has been on my mind since we bumped into one another . I also want to apologize to her about the rumours Tracy has been spreading , saying that she threw herself on me although I know Emily would never that . I didn't know Emily personally but i had this feeling that she was a kind and gentle person.

As I'm walking through the hall looking for Mr Wilkens class I see her . I that moment I caught a glimpse of her before she entered the class I swear my ice cold heart melted like a popsicle on a sunny day .

I'm going to wait outside the classroom because I don't want to miss her when she comes out of the class . I decide to sit on the floor while I wait .

I fell asleep while waiting but the sound of the school bell wakes me . I jump up waiting for Emily . I'm not surprised that she is the last one to leave the class .

I see her !

"Emily!" I shout

She looks around , past me ,trying to figure out who called her .

I walk towards her.

I'm now standing in front of her now , she keeps staring at the floor though . I put my hand under her chin and softly lid her head so she is facing me .

Her cheaks go red and at that I feel butterflies in my stomach .
I have never gotten butterflies!
I believe it's a thing only girls feel but i felt it . Emily , a girl I didn't even know was giving me butterflies !

I look into her eyes

"Emily" I say softly
