"You could have gotten me a coffee before you dragged me out of bed and to this dump." Finley grumbled as they walked down the steps to the tomb where Katherine was being held. "You don't need coffee Fin, and this is more important than your caffeine addiction." Damon lectured while looking at his brother, "Let's do it."
"I beg to differ, without coffee, I get stabby and when I get stabby-" "Go get coffee then and meet us back here in 5 minutes max." She grinned and turned around, "And get me a cappuccino, two sugars." She turned around with the biggest 'Really?' face she could muster at 7:15 in the morning. "What?" She rolled her eyes and sped off. Stefan looked at Damon with a blank stare, "You could've asked me if I wanted a coffee." "Get over it, caffeine stunts your growth anyways."
"I come bearing coffee, one for you, one for you and one for me." She passed the boys their coffees after they moved the stone from the entrance of the tomb, Katherine scratchy voice sounded from the darkness. "Please. Come on in. There's plenty of room for all of us." "I'd rather poke my eyes out." Damon countered, "Mm. They're such pretty eyes." Finley rolled her eyes, "We're here for the moonstone." "Feel like tossing it over?" "Tell you what. Ahem. You get your little witch here to hocus-pocus me out of here, you can have whatever you want." Stefan smirked, "I thought you liked it in here. Nice and safe, where Klaus can't get to you." He was enjoying this, all three of them were.
"I've had time to reconsider." Taking a sip of coffee and raising a brow, "Meaning you're hungry." "I'm starving Damon. And dirty. But above all, I'm bored. At least running from Klaus wasn't boring. So, here's the deal. You get me out of here. You get the moonstone and I'll disappear from Mystic Falls forever. Let me know what you decide." She walked further into the tomb, disappearing from sight."
Stefan turned Damon, "We need to tell Elena and come up with a plan." "Have fun. I'm going back to bed." Before the Salvatore brothers could even argue, she was gone. "Yep. She's your friend alright." "Hey, watch it."
Finley was home quickly, knowing Rose was around she made them both coffees and went to Damon's room, "You know you could have left me a note or- oh Fin, where's Damon?" "We went to talk with Katherine this morning, I bailed on delivering the news to Elena." "Fair enough, is that coffee?" "Mm. Here."
Rose and Fin sat on Damon's bed, talking and joking around. "So how long have you known Stefan and Damon?" "I met them five years before they were turned, Stefan and I were friendly, but I really clicked with Damon, I had actually left before Katherine showed up. I had my own matters to deal with and I figured it was easier on everyone the sooner I left." "But then Katherine turned them."
"Yeah. Damon ended up separating from Stefan and found me a few years later after being turned." "Wait so how old-" Rose was interrupted by the front door opening, she grabbed her silk robe and rushed to greet the person before Finley even got the chance to say who it was, the familiar scent reaching her nose before the person even got to the door. "It's not nice to leave a girl naked so early in the morning." Rose tied her robe and looked up to see Elena, "Whoa." Fin stifled a laugh behind her, Rose turned and playfully glared at Fin before turning back to Elena, "Sorry I thought you were-" She trailed off, the answer obvious, "I, uh- sorry, I-" "There's no one else here Lena." Fin spoke icily, "Actually I came to talk to you, both of you."
Rose gestured behind her, "Then I should probably get dressed." Elena nodded while Fin shrugged, "Or don't, I was enjoying the view." Elena turned beet red and looked away while Rose winked back at Fin and walked away to get dressed.
"It's a bad idea." "That's what I said." "No, it's not. By what Stefan told me, your friend Slater obviously has more information about Klaus. You two and Damon just gave up before you got it." Fin snapped her head from Rose to Elena and growled menacingly, "Watch it." Elena's eyes widened and Rose looked at her like she was stupid, which she was. "Because somebody blew up a coffee shop with us in it." "There's more to learn. We just have to find a way to learn it." Rose threw her arms up and turned back, "Why are you coming to me- Sorry, us with this?"
