As we approached the trail the GPS sent us Anna started complaining as always.
"Oh my god it's so dirty! The trees are so ugly, why don't they take those down?! We have driven for 30 minutes in these horrible woods. I don't like this place!" She nagged as the GPS indicated to turn right. I was about to shut her up when a distant light appeared a little deeper into the trail. Finally!
"Anna shut up!" Elsa said for me and I smiled at her. Anna looked at her in disgust and turned to the window once again.
"We're here!" I said proudly as I parked next to a the wooden cabin.
"It looks so small and crappy, I thought it would be a luxury cabin!" Anna complained once again. I turned around and gave her a death glare that made her shut up in an instant.
A elderly man was standing in front of the house with some keys in his hands. I suppose that is the person who offered to give us the cabin for a month?
"Hello Christopher, I see you have come." He says with a kind smile. He looks unusually strong for his age and has great posture. I wonder how he manages that.
"And you are...?" I said sounding a little ruder than I intended. His eyes widened as if he didn't expect me to ask that question.
"I am a supervisor from Harvard and you won this trip in honor for your amazing a skills, it's the least we can do." He answers smiling and hands us each a key. He seemed off, but I shook it off.
"If you need anything here is my phone number." He says while handing me his business card. I nod and then he disappears into the woods.
"I don't like him." Anna complains, again. I swear if she does not shut up she will be sleeping outside, but this time I sort of agree with her.
As we climb up the old steps outside, Anna curses.
"Shit, ouch! I got a splinter!" She wines and I looked back.
"I guess karma caught you back for complaining." I said and she stuck her tough out at me. How childish.
I slowly open the door revealing a very well kept cabin home. The wood was polished the lights were bright. The house was huge and spotless. It was nothing like on the outside.
Anna didn't even complain this time. She just looked around the clean house and picked a room on the top floor.
Afterwards we all did the same. Anna and Luke have the top right room. James and Rita have the bottom left room. Conner and Tania have the top left room. Finally me and Elsa have the bottom right room. Great I'm right under my ex (note the sarcasm)! At least we get the master considering that I was the one who brought us all here.
Elsa unpacks her clothes and it only takes up half a rack from 3 in the walk in closet. She grabs her purse and takes out her eye liner and lip sticks on the table. She uses half of the table's drawers to organize her panties, bras, and socks.
Afterwards she approaches the bathroom and puts all of her belongings their. I do the same afterwards. The closet has one extra rack for any other clothes and the drawers are filled with underwear and socks on my side, and the bathroom is divided into men and woman perfume, and body products.
We don't check each others side of the sink cabinets because we are afraid of what we might find. I'm sure Elsa would kill me if she sees what's in mine. As for me I don't need any pads anytime soon.
When we all finished unpacking we met each other in the living room and made plans for tomorrow.
We decided on checking our surroundings. We had to vote with that plan because Anna was complaining against it.
