Hi, I'm Paige. I'm 16 years old and almost 17 in about two days from now. I'm not too excited. I mean, it's just a birthday, another day where I get older. Whats so special about that. To some people it's great to them that it's their birthday, but to me, it's not.

"Wake up!" Said my mom. "Today's the last day of school! Aren't you excited!" I wake up with my hair in my mouth and my laptop beside me. My mom sees me getting up, and so she leaves my bedroom to go make breakfast. I check my phone, like I do every morning as soon as I wake up, I check all my social media, then I get up and get ready to go. As I'm checking on my social media, I noticed that on my Instagram this girl at school that bully's me, Samantha, commented on my photo. It said, "Omg, delete this now. This is so ugly. If I were you, I would delete it before someone reports it for its hideousness."
When I read that, I could care less. She bullies me everyday, so I'm used to it.

I get up after checking my phone, and I get a shower. I turned on the hot water and put my hand under the water to check the temperature. It was scorching hot. I turned the temperature down. I checked it again. This time, it was just right. I get in the shower and start to wash my body. The water on my face felt so good after waking up in a pool of sweat from my hot room. I then washed my hair. My hair was so smooth after using the new conditioner my mom got me.
Once I was done with my shower I dried my hair. The heat from the hair dryer was blowing my hair like a summer breeze. I put the hair dryer in front of my face and pretended like I was one of those models. I moved my head side to side. I felt so free doing that. That might sound silly to do that, but admit it, we all have done it before.

After drying my hair, I got dressed. Knowing it's the last day of school, I dressed nicely. I put on my favorite red dress that I wore to my mom and step-dad's wedding. I was the maid of honor in case you were wondering. I put it on and looked into my full length mirror. I look at myself very closely. I notice that the dress shapes my body. I put my hands behind my back and zip the zipper of the dress. I can feel the pressure of the dress on me as I'm zipping. The dress fits very nicely on me. I stand up straight and look at myself in the mirror and smile. I mean, my mom always told me, your never fully dressed without a smile.

I go to the bathroom and I curl my hair with a flatiron. I can hear the sizzling of the heat on my hair. The heat makes me very hot, so I turn on my portable fan. The flatiron left very nice curls. I noticed when I got done curling my hair. I did my makeup straight after that. I don't typically where a ton of makeup, so I put some foundation on, a little bit of eyeshadow, some mascara, and to tie in the look, I did some red lipstick, to go with my red dress.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast with my mom and step-dad, like I do every morning. My mom made eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, waffles, and for me, pancakes. My mom usually doesn't make breakfasts like this. "Whats all this for?" I ask her. "Well, today's the last day of school so why not." My mom says with a smile. I eat as fast as lighting, knowing the bus comes very soon. I got full very fast. I kissed my mom and hugged my step-dad goodbye. I ran to the front door and grabbed my book-bag, which was right next to the door, and ran outside. Luckily, the bus was very close to my house, so now I don't have to wait for awhile in the heat.

The bus pulls up to my driveway and opens the bus doors, I sat in a seat next to a 9th grade boy. On our way to school, we talked to each other. He was very nice.

As we arrived to the school, I grabbed my book-bag and waited for someone to let me in the aisle so I could get to my class. No one seemed to let me go, so I waited until everyone was out. I was the last one to leave the bus. Well me and the 9th grade boy I sat with. I'm friends with my bus driver so he said bye to me. I said bye back of course.

I was about to be late for class, so I ran to my locker and got my books as fast as I could. I was almost to my class, until my bully Samantha jumps in front of me. "Where are you going bitch?" Said Samantha. "To my class. Now get out of my way I'm going to be late."
"Oh no, your not going anywhere." Samantha said with a strange voice. Samantha suddenly knocks my books out of my hands and slaps me. She slapped me so hard, I fell to the ground. "GET UP!" She yells. I looked down at the ground and a single tear went down my cheek. Samantha grabs my arm and lifts me up. Then her two friends grab one of my arms each. Samantha kicks me in the stomach and punches me in the nose. I couldn't bear but gasp for air after how hard she kicked me in the stomach. She starts to slap me continuously. She then, starts punching and kicking my stomach over and over and over again. I started to loose my vision and about passed out. The whole time I thought to myself. *Why isn't anyone hearing this?* Then suddenly, I was about to pass out, but I saw a blur of our school principal, Ms. Bermont. I saw her walking and looking at a pile of papers that she was holding. She then looked up and dropped her papers and ran towards me. I could hear her in a deep loud tone saying "Stop that right this instant!" Samantha heard Ms. Bermont and immediately stopped. Her friends dropped me and I fell to the ground. I coughed up a lot of blood, and I had bruising all over my face and stomach. I overheard Ms. Bermont yelling at Samantha and the other two girls. She sent them to the principles office and then ran to me. "Are you okay!" Ms. Bermont says in a concerned voice. "Yeah, I'm fine." She helped me get up and when I walked, it felt like someone traded my legs for silly string legs. She helped me walk to the nurses office and then called my parents. The nurse gave me an icepack and a few pain relieves, and then I went to class. When I walked into class, everyone including my teacher stared at me. I was so embarrassed. I was late for class because of a bully. I couldn't help but run out of the class. I couldn't face them after what just happened. I ran to the girls bathroom. I ran into a stall and started crying. I swear I almost cried a river. I had enough. I was sick of this world treating me like crap. I don't deserve this. So I ran away.....

I ran out of the school and ran straight to the Lost Forest. The Lost Forest is basically a humongous forest that everyone says not to go in. Everyone says it's very dangerous, but I don't care. Anything is better than this place, I thought. I ran into the forest. I just kept running and running and running. I didn't know where I was going, I just ran....
