Travis's pov
I wake up and grab my phone. I decide to start packing. I start to pick up my room and sing songs on my playlist. After a while, I realized I should make a list of things to bring on my trip. As I pack, I make sure to include all the essentials and double-check my itinerary. I put them in my car and went into my family's kitchen. I make pancakes. I enjoy a hearty breakfast before hitting the road, feeling prepared and excited for my trip ahead. As I finish my meal, I grab a coffee to go and head out the door with a smile on my face. I grab the keys to my car and start driving. I turn up the volume on my favorite playlist and sing along as I drive towards my destination. The sun is shining, the music is playing, and I can't wait to see my online best friends for the first time. As I make my way to my new home, I can't help but feel excited for this fresh start.

I imagine all the fun adventures we will have together and the memories we will create. The anticipation builds as I get closer to finally meeting them in person. I look at the gas monitor and realize I need gas. I quickly pull into a nearby gas station to refuel, eager to get back on the road and reach my destination. The thought of finally being able to meet my online best friends in real life keeps me motivated to keep driving. I walk in to gas station to pay and start to get in line when I see my ex Vincent shit. My heart races as I try to avoid eye contact, hoping he doesn't notice me. I quickly pay for the gas and head back to my car, feeling grateful for the distraction of my upcoming reunion with my best friends. I see him by my car. My heart sinks as I realize he's blocking my way out. I take a deep breath and calmly pull out my phone and call my best friend Mattheo. As I wait for Mattheo to pick up, I try to maintain my composure and ignore Vincent's presence. I know that having a friend on the line will give me the strength to handle the situation with grace. I walk up to my car and start to put gas in. I can feel Vincent's eyes on me, but I focus on the sound of Mattheo's voice on the other end of the line, reassuring me that I am not alone in this moment of discomfort. With each passing moment, I feel more empowered to confront the situation head-on and assert my boundaries. Vincent rolls his eyes and walks off. me: thanks mattheo. Mattheo: no problem but how much longer are you going to take. I want to i see you! me: I just got done putting gas in so like 14 more hours. Mattheo: whyyyyy. You need to shut up and drive. drive. drive. drive. drive. me: really that song? Mattheo: shit the teacher saw me with my phone I need to get off sorry. me: okay. the call ends I get in the car. As I start the engine and pull out of the gas station I jam out to songs.
Speed run (time skip)
I'm starting to get hungry. I decide to stop at a fast food place to grab a quick bite before hitting the road. The music blaring from the speakers makes the drive more enjoyable as I look forward to reaching my destination. After eating, I'm really tired. I roll down the windows to let in some fresh air, hoping it will help keep me awake. The caffeine from the soda I grabbed at the fast food place is starting to wear off, so I turn up the music even louder to stay alert on the road. As the sun sets, the sky turns into a beautiful array of colors, making the drive even more scenic. I remind myself to take breaks and stretch my legs periodically to avoid fatigue while driving. I might pass out if I don't get to a hotel soon. I check my GPS to see how much longer it is until the next rest stop or hotel. I also consider calling a friend or family member to keep me company on the drive. I realize that having someone to talk to could help keep me awake and engaged during the drive. I decide to make the call and enjoy some conversation to help pass the time until I reach my hotel. I see a hotel in the distance. Relieved, I pull into the hotel parking lot and go to the check in to check in for the night. I see the front desk. I walk up to it and ring the bell. I see a girl my age come to the front desk. She greets me with a warm smile and asks how she can assist me. I explain that I have a reservation and am looking forward to a comfortable stay after a long drive. I walk to my room and plop on the bed like a starfish. The soft pillows and cozy blankets instantly relax me, and I feel grateful for a comfortable place to rest. As I drift off to sleep, I can't help but think about the warm welcome I received from the girl at the front desk. I shall dream of hot anime men.
Time skip to the next morning
I'm finally at Rhianna's and Mattheo's house. I pull in the driveway, get out of the car, and walk to them. They greet me with warm hugs and smiles, making me feel instantly at home. I am excited for the quality time we will spend together catching up and making new memories. Rhianna: hi. me: hiii. Mattheo: You look tired. me: maybe because I just drove for 17 hours. Rhianna: then sleep. I walk to my room and fall asleep. The next morning, I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day with my dear friends. We enjoy a delicious breakfast together before planning our activities for the day. I am grateful for their hospitality and the warmth of their friendship. I see all the boxes. Me: What time is it? Rhianna: 3 p.m. Me: Okay, I'm going to go set up my room. I walk to my room and unpack, then set up my room. I take a quick shower and change into fresh clothes before joining my friends for a late lunch. As we chat and catch up, I feel grateful for their support and company. Rhianna: We have school in one day, and we need to get new uniforms. Me: That's true, we should probably go shopping for uniforms soon. Let's finish up lunch and then head out to get that done. Me, Rhianna, and Mattheo walk to the shop for uniforms. After picking out our new uniforms, we head back home to prepare for the upcoming school year. As we walk back, we discuss our excitement and nerves about starting a new grade together.
