Charlotte paced the doors to Aaravos's prison with Rayla, Callum, and Soren, Ezran in the corner with a sleeping Zym. Aaravos was obviously in her head, but she was oblivious to it, thinking the flashing white and purple in her head was just some weird coincidence. But, of course, the second she started to think about the flashing she and the others were blown back toward the doors, making them rattle. KEEP HIM THERE! Rayla exclaimed as she cast a barrier around herself and the doors. The flashing increased as she winced, her eyes flickering between gold and brown. I CAN'T DO THIS! she exclaimed, her back arching forcefully, trying to keep the magic barrier up but failing by the moment. Give. In. she heard Aaravos repeat in her head. Please....Please what? he asked, the arrogance radiating off him, even in her mind. Beg. Please........sto..p...I'm sorry, my princess, but I need you out of the way to be freed. We will speak in person soon enough. She could hear his evil laugh and felt crawling on her neck. Goodnight, little one. Till next time, my princess. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she was unconscious and the barrier was broken. Viren was able to get to the door while Rayla grabbed Charlotte and shook her. CHARLOTTE WAKE UP! she exclaimed. She looked up to see the grin on Viren's face. NO! she exclaimed but the doors burst open and everything went black. Finally Aaravos said, casting a small spell in his hand. He looked over to Rayla and Charlotte, a few feet away from each other. Zubiea's precious champions. We have somewhere to be. And where is that? Viren asked. He laughed, closing his eyes with a growing smirk and then opening his eyes. Lux Aurea.
In Lux Aurea after everyone finds out thats where they are going~
Charlotte, are you okay? Rayla asked as they walked through the campout. Tears threatened to fall as she looked out at the huge red orb, once their power source, now corrupted and tainted a blood red. It's just memories I can't forgive myself for. Listen, it isn't your fault. I know but...the memories aren't exactly amazing. I actually have a question. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to but...how did it feel? When it was corrupted? Her voice was stuck as she wiped a tear. It felt...polluted. Sick. Like, no longer true, a false sense of hope. Fraudulent. Fake. Almost, no, not almost, completely, decaying. Dying. A scream. A shriek. Agony. Pain. That was what she heard. She summoned a spear as she ran to where the commotion was, now seeing Kim'dael. You Rayla said, glaring at her. Oh, young moon, how long it has been. I told you this wouldn't be over. Oh, and whos your little sunfire elf friend. She gasped with a smirk. Young princess? Charlotte? Oh, I'm so sorry you never got to meet your precious parents. Your father was strong, but an obstacle no less, meant to be eliminated. Oh the sheer horror in his eyes when I made him watch as I slaughtered your mother. And the tear in his eye when with his last breath he could see me take you and heard your cries. She took out a vile, the blood not red, but a mix of red and a shining orange. His blood Kim'dael whispered. A tear shed from her eye as her fists clenched. Let.Him.Go. Charlotte said, turning to Viren and Aaravos. And why would I do that, princess? Aaravos asked. He released the sunfire elf and strode over to her. Look at that he said as she watched it. One second it was normal. Then blood. An endless amount of blood. Screams. Shrieks. And her own infant cries. She watched as both of he parents fell dead and she was stolen. Aaravos's gaze diverted to Rayla, who was obviously shocked but not fully scared. He knew if he wanted Charlotte out of his way he needed to be able to have the young elf at his will also. Oh, and I have something for you too. He snapped as she watched Runaan being coined. She had never, NEVER seen him scream. Especially like that. And guess what, Aaravos started now whispering in her ear and moving her hair, its your fault. RAYLA! she heard Callum yell as she turned her head but Aaravos brought it back to him. While I would love to continue this, I have a certain place to return to up in the stars. But for that, he whispered in Charlotte's ear, I need your help. He drew a rune as Rayla was encased in ice. He quickly knocked out Charlotte and lifted her with magic. Au revoir, little one. I await to see if you will defeat me once again. He kissed Rayla's cheek lightly and put a hand on her neck and whispered the incantation as her head fell and she was unconscious. Do what you want with the young elf, Kim'dael. As Callum locked eyes with Aaravos, holding an unconscious Charlotte in almost(lol) bridal style, and Rayla floating with magic, Kim'dael finished binding her hands. He saw the smirk on Aaravos's face as he moved Rayla to him and removed her blades. Here's a little prize Aaravos said, drawing a rune as magic escaped the beautiful blades and he twirled it in the air and threw the blades to Callum. Stay out of my way, young mage. After all, you wouldn't want your sunfire princess and Moonshadow princess to get hurt, would you? What type of boyfriend would do that? Au revoir, young mage.
