And on the three went. Two of their closest friends gone, like it was nothing. Tears rolled down Emberly and Nolans faces. Earnests heart was hurting, causing frustration and disorder in him. All they could do was stay quiet and continue walking. It had been about thirty minutes now, the monster creeping behind them.

No matter how quiet they were, it would still hear their footsteps. Luana took a quick peek back at it and shuttered. It reminded her of one of the nightmares she had a young child. The slow creeping, the elongated arms and torso, and the face the creature has seemed so familiar to her. Suddenly she thought of something.

Now that they were close to an exit they could cause a distraction and make a run for it. Luana whispered the plan to the boys, Earnest thought it was too risky, while Nolan thought it would work out. The two boys got frustrated over their decisions, having a staring contest showing how angry they were to the other. Nolan let out a soft sigh and shook his head no to Luana.

Her eyes widened as she shook in fear. She wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. So she acted on her own. She picked up a small chunk of metal and threw it to the other side of the sewage water. The monster heard it loud and clear, and went after it. As the boys tried to keep her from running, Luana held her breath and took off. The monster caught on, realizing it was just metal that made noise and no humans were near it.

It jumped into the water to travel faster than it's normal speed to catch up to Luana. Unbeknownst to her, it got close enough to grab her ankle. It pulled her back into the sewer water with it and started tearing her legs off. A method it used to make sure its food wouldn't escape. She screamed in agony. She was unable to get away.
