Cain walked back from the alley and went back to his home. The previous owner lived in a barely functioning apartment, and in order to pay, he took even more debts from dangerous people to pay for his food and rent and promised to pay them back in time.
Those debts were now catching up to him. The gangs that attacked him earlier were some of the people he borrowed from earlier.
Cain opened his apartment door. The moment he entered, he could tell how bad his situation was. The previous owner was an orphan; he barely could live through life, although he was lucky enough not to be infected. He couldn't even use Origium art.
"Not only can I not remember my name, I only remember about Arknight and other gacha games I played and what I was doing".
While Cain was looking through the previous owner's memories on his way home, he realised his own were fragmented, and he could recall nothing about earth and what he did except about the person he was and his previous name.
"Let's think about it later. How will I pay his debts? I barely have anything or ways."
In usual tropes like his. The main character could rush over some mountains and find some hidden treasures and sell them off to pay the debt, or perhaps overpower everyone. But for him, it was lost hope.
He had no power at all, and due to this world structure, it was near impossible to attempt leaving without them learning about it. The gang also had connections with Famiglie, which made it impossible.
Familities were mafia gangs that had the highest authority in Siracusa. Each of them ruled a city, and having them as your backers was more than enough.
I lived in Sette Doll City, though the owner wanted to move to Locomotiva.
"Where is my cheat? I desperately need one, or else I will be sold out."
Cain couldn't help but sigh.
"Was it a system window or something like that?" As he spoke, suddenly a blue window appeared above him.
Cain, who had laid down on the sofa, jolted up with energy. His excitement to see the status window, his only hope, made him smile like a madman. But that excitement died down as he inspected it.

"[A random job was taken.]"
Cain tapped on his trait bars to see if he found anything useful.

"Although all these traits are good, my body, on the other hand, is weak."
Especially his [heavenly eye], which allowed him to make some scenarios that are impossible in normal situations happen.
The only cost was that it required its user to have a strong mind; otherwise, the scenarios observed blurred out, making the cause they wanted no longer happen.
