When I finally get my suitcases back and pass through security, I go looking for my uncle Xavi Hernández. Who was picking me up from the airport. I was offered the job of an analyst, for his team FC Barcelona.

I've not seen him in years. when I see him I go running to him.

"Uncle Xavi!" I say while hugging him.

"Julia you've grown so much!" He says and takes my suitcase. "Let's go to the car and we can talk all about it."

I nod and walk with him to his car.

In the car ride we talked about the things we've been up to and stuff.

We arrived at his house and he showed me my room. It's beautifully decorated, just my style.

I began to unpack my stuff when I remembered I would text Isabella my best friend when I arrived.

Isabella has been my best friend since birth.  I haven't seen her in so long because me and my parents moved for my dad's work.
Her dad and my dad became friends because they both are working in the football industry.

It's almost 23:00 when I have unpacked everything. I'm so tired of traveling all day, so I get ready for bed because tomorrow is the big day!

Time skip to tomorrow

My alarm goes off, I roll around in my bed before I turn off my alarm. "8:00.." I mumble, definitely not a morning person.

After probably 15 minutes of scrolling on TikTok I decide to get out of bed! I don't want to be late on my first day.

I take a shower and put on a simple top and some linen pants and I do my hair and makeup.

I go downstairs where I see Xavi already eating breakfast.

"Morning!" he greets me "I have made breakfast for you" and points to the bowl on the table.

"Thank you, I can ride with you to the training grounds right?" I question while sitting down to eat.

He nods "Yes I will first introduce you to the team and then I will tell u what to do."

"Okay," I reply as I eat.

After some time we drive to the training grounds. It's about half an hour drive and I'm getting pretty nervous now.

We reach the training grounds and step out of the car. Xavi leads me to the big football field where all the players stand there and talk waiting on their coach.

"Boys this is Julia my niece and she is our new analyst." when he says niece he looks at the boys with a stern look.

A few look happy that I'm here and others just smile casually at me.

"Julia want to introduce yourself to the boys?" he asks me.

"Oh, sure!" I reply "Well I'm Julia, I'm 20 years old and I'm super excited to be working here." I said.

After my introduction, the players introduced themselves to me.

A boy came up to me he looked around my age with some other players.

"Hello, I'm Gavi and they are Ferran, Joao, Alejandro, and Pedri" he says while pointing at the guys.

"You know we can introduce ourselves right?" Joao called out.

"Gavi just wanted to talk to her first," Ferran replies.

I chuckle at their conversation, they all smile and talk to me but one guy just stands at the back and doesn't smile or so. I think his name is Pedri.

"Well guys I need to get on working, it was fun getting to know you all." I say to them smiling.

Xavi led me to my office and what I have to do.

"Okay, so the first player you will be following is Gavi."

I think to myself that's great, I can know him a little better, and at least it's not that guy Pedri.

As I gather some information about Gavi, go to the field to see him play.

I go sit on the bench and watch him do his exercises. While I do that I just can't help but feel someone staring at me, but who..?

Writing some things down suddenly I hear a voice.

"So you need to watch me?" It was Gavi who was sitting all of a sudden next to me.

"Jezus, you scared the shit out of me, but yes I'm your analyst for some time now." I reply to him however he is looking at the notes I wrote down.

We talk for a bit and then he gets yelled at for not doing training, and I get back to my office.

At the end of my workday, I grab my bag and wait for Xavi.

It was a fantastic first day...
