The Love Story

Chapter 1

Introduction

When i was a kid i wanted to be a nurse and help people. I mean we all wanted to help people when we were younger right? Maybe that was just me. I was always an outgoing smart kid. Nothing ever held me back. I was always popular in school and had straight As. I live in a small town named Lilum. It only has a population of 8000 people so our schools were a little big. Anyways, let's start this story off by saying hi, i'm Madzie, i'm 18 years old. This is the story that is currently happening to me.

Today had been the last day of school. I woke up like any other normal day and groaned at the thought of having to complete two final exams. "Madzie you're gonna be late!" my mom yelled. I look over at my alarm clock and realized i had overslept by 30 minutes. I jump out of bed and put on a pair of jeans and a hoodie before brushing my hair.

I head to school for another exhausting day. "At least it was the last one before summer break" i think to myself. I had arrived to school and not shortly after did my friend come up to me screaming about a new "hot" guy that had just moved here and only attending the last day of school. "MADZIE OMG HES IN OUR 2ND HOUR CLASS" she said. "lily please calm down, who are you talking abt" i look at her as i grab my backpack and shut my door. "his name is Blake, he has blonde hair, blue eyes and is apparently very sexy" she says with a smirk. I look at her with a smile on my face "oh Lily you really believe everyone don't you" i say teasing her.

I sit down in my seat and lay my head on the desk. The class seemed to be happier than usual. Mr Tanner looked at all of us for a second and then started handing out an exam. "Shit" i say. "I forgot about the exam" i say to Lily. I grab a pencil out of my bag and write my name at the top of my paper. "Alright class, this will be your final exam. I want no cheating and a clean test" said Mr tanner. I look over at Lily and notice she's staring off into space. "You may begin your tests" Mr Tanner says. I start on my test noticing the question aren't that hard. "What if Lily is right, what if this man is sexy. i can't wait to meet him" i think to myself. I cannot get distracted.

25 Minutes Later

I finish my test and hand it to Mr Tanner. The bell rang 5 minutes later. The class sprung up and started walking out the door. "Lily isn't he in our 2nd hour class?" i asked. "That's what i heard" she said. We walk into our second hour class and sat in our seats. Lily and i haven't been seated together because we would always mess around. So instead i sat by myself in the back. Which i was ok with as long as i could sleep. I decided not to think about this new kid and laid my head in my arms on my desk. I dazed off into a weird dream. I was getting chased by men in the street. I don't know how much time had passed. I had woken up in a startle to one of the men in my dreams hitting me on the head.

I jumped up and looked around and realized this new guy was sitting right next to me. I could see Lily looking back at me giggling. I must of been loud. The new kid looked at me with a smirk on his face. I looked up at the clock and realized i'd been sleeping for the entire hour and there was only 5 minutes left of class. I was embarrassed to move. I was afraid the new kid was looking at me. Of course i had made a fool of myself in front of a stranger. He didn't look too bad at all either. That was the bad part, if i wanted to have any chance with a guy i couldn't because i always end up embarrassing myself. Which i clearly already did here. The bell had wrung and i sprung up and ran out of the classroom with Lily.

Lily was still laughing at me. "Lily please can you stop" i said looking at her with a straight face. Lily squeezed my arm and walked to her third hour class. I yawned and walked the opposite way to the second floor. I walked into the classroom to my seat. It was science class so we had double seats of course because of the labs we needed to do. Since it had been the last day of school we were only watching a movie. Pretty pointless if you ask me. I looked up to see that the new kid was also in my third hour class and had been assigned to sit next to me.
